You Gibby haters are seeking solace and an answer to the loss.

I'll reiterate again. We lost because we were out hit and out pitched. Period. Price struck out the side in the second. If there was a problem with his location I refer you to the sticky notes he puts up in his locker.

"If you don't like it, pitch better!".

Nuff said. Past is past. We can get em today.

The worst thing is that Gibby clearly gave Price too much time off without consulting him or getting any input. We all (apparently) know that Price did not want the layoff and Gibby forced him to rest, completely ignoring his input.

At least there's no pressure on Stroman today. So many jackasses have left the bandwagon that I don't think anyone cares anymore.

People need to calm the fuck down. If you listen to Price and Gibbons leading up to yesterday's game, the sense was that Price was tired and didn't mind the extra rest. If he was adamant about pitching a game in Tampa he would've pitched.

Do you really think JG and AA are so stupid that they would not consult with the stud ace they trying to lure into signing his next contract by demonstrating what a classy and player friendly organization they are? Really? REALLY??

Totally and utterly a ridiculous claim on your part.

Oops. Just read post 86 after making this post. Guess you got me as well.

I guess we shouldn't have been surprised by Price's relatively poor performance yesterday. His post season stats are nothing like the record he has in regular season games and his previous outing was not great.

I'm expecting better things from Stroman but the batters have got to deliver.

Unfuckingbelievable!

Three defensive miscues.

Plus, Colabella could have stepped on first bag and still held the runner.

I thought the same damn thing.

At least 'The Bringer of Rain' took back some momentum.

I think resting their "A" players have taken effect. They look lost and can't find location with pitching.

Despite some really bad defensive play, it is a brand new game now.

Hopefully the play-off jitters are gone and they can settle down to playing their game.

Stro has to hold them here

Hawkins biggest problem is he always throws the ball over the middle of the plate, he's easy to hit. Jays are toast.

Bob Costa said that Rangers won both games because they played actual baseball. Moved runners from base to base unlike the Jays. WTF he kissing Rangers now?!!!???
Still, I hope my earlier call on the series will stand. Jays in 5! Their next two starters are nothing to be scared of. And, Rangers play better on the road than at home all season long.
I might eat my words by Monday! LOL!

He is right.

Usually good pitching will negate good hitting, however the Rangers pitchers are not pitching super great. The Jays are hitting bad.

They seem to be squeezing the bat and trying to swing for the fences instead of hitting the ball and putting it into play. They are also getting frustrated at the umpires calls and it is having a negative impact on their approach to hitting. Right now, they are their own worst enemy.

They also blew a huge opportunity in extra innings when Cola lead off with a single. They put in Pompey, which was a good move, then Martin hit a shallow pop-up instead of bunting him into scoring position. Pompey didn't steal those two bases until there were two outs.

That being said, I would drop Tulo to the ninth spot. His timing is off and it is affecting the impact of Edwin.

Hopefully Estrada can get us back in the series. I would go with Dickey in game 4 if they make it that far.

It is frustrating as a fan, but at least you can second guess shit - Being a player must be hard because you have to keep your mouth shut (to a certain extent).

If they are a team that can win when under pressure, now is the time to show it.
