Wherever I shouldn't be
Let's put Reyes in the HOF now. He's as good as Alomar according to Zaun. Pathetic need for something.....Anything..........
Go Leafs.

Jays on pace to hit 350 home runs. Unfortunately, also on pace to lose 120 games:mad:.
Relax there Rocky, baseball is a long season. You know how many times in the last decade the Yankees started slow out of the gate and made the post season? In 1989 the jays had a loosing record and were like 7 games back at the all-star break in a season in which they went on to win the division.

Yeah, I'm not worried about a rather sluggish start for the Jays. I feel they may be in need of some help in the bullpen though. And Lind has either got to go back in a way-back machine to his 2009 days or find himself in a house in Buffalo.

It's to bad cause he had a good spring training,

I just can't see with these 5 starters any stretch of period where things get don't go right for too long if everyone stays healthy. The staters alone I have pegged for 70-75 wins. There's got to be 15-20 wins somewhere in there amongst the rest of the pitching which should get them in.

What's ye 'ole Yogi Berra saying?

well...... was at the game last night and here are a few observations...
Bonafacio great range but his infield arm SUCKS......he doesn't seem to have much of a plan at the plate either.....
EE trying too hard. He couldn't swing any harder. He has to relax.
Lind is making contact and hopefully the hits will come.
Looking forward to Lawrie getting into the line up. So far the defense stinks, maybe he will help to shore it up.
Reyes: incredible athlete and smart. We are going to love him.
The fans at last night game were a bunch of drunken idiots, We were in the 200 section and there were 2 fights that involved the police beside us.
We could see fights in the 100 section to the outfield side of third. Pretty stupid.
What is with the wave? It is passe. It was fun in the 80's, get over it!

Lawrie (scheduled to come back Saturday) will be an upgrade
When I posted this I'd read he'd be back around the 5th game. Now today I read he's at least two weeks away. Rehabbing in Dunedin but no live action yet.

Joey Boom Bats misses his second game, a sprained ankle can be a pain in the ass.

Since he played in the WBC, we didn't get to see much of Jose Reyes. He could become this city's most popular athlete, the Jays better lock him up long term.

I loved watching him tease the third baseman last night on whether he threw to first, then Reyes would run home. Both runners ended up safe.

Not since Molitor have I seen smarts like that in base running. Hope he keeps it up.

Adam Badonkadonk is living off that One Big Year he fluked in 2009...
This dude has no business batting 5th in this lineup.

Reyes is tall and very impressive world class athlete at 6' 1"...
Bet this guy is no stranger to dark alleys.

Check out Yankee Stadium bleachers...

I rather the Jays get off to a slow start and then catch fire later in the season, as opposed to getting of to a hot start and then fizzling out

Pain in the ass? Yep. FOR THE FANS!!!
I've seen 10 year old girls who sprain their ankles at breakfast and are able to play three consecutive games at soccer tournaments in the afternoon.
Someone needs to tell "Joey Bats" to cowboy up and not to be such a pussy.
