The majority of Americans voted for President Bush in the last election. So it is a fair statement.

I disagree.
The last election 2004 was a fraud and rigged. Diebold was hired by the GOP to 'fix' the last election which they did. The 2000 election was a political coup with the Supreme Court installing Dubya instead of him being elected. By a 5-4 vote the SC nullified the 2000 election and 'selected' Dubya POTUS.

Democracy may indeed be dead in the USA and is being replaced by that Corporatist fascist state (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporatism) Benito Mussolini dreamed of 60 years ago.

Dubya is a figurehead puppet with corporate interests pulling all his strings.
