Good call on Time Lapse. If we're on the same page, its the 2014 movie about a machine that takes photos 24hrs into the future. Forgot about that one.
It was a great film, with a cool twist. Thanks for reminding me about it.

Its not been mentioned, but a nice mind fuck sci-fi series was Cube (1997), Cube 2 (2002) and Cube Zero (2004)
All three were unique in their own ways.

Yes! That's exactly the one I'm talking about! I was thinking about that movie for days long after I finished watching it. I couldn't get it out of my head and I couldn't stop thinking about what I would do if I found such an invention. *shivers*

The brilliant 2009 Oscar winning Argentinian film, "The Secret in their Eyes" is a beautifully developed drama, romance, detective story with an overt 'Film Noir' tone...

...the last five minutes will leave you gobsmacked and haunt you for days!
