Already mentioned..... Se7en & The Usual Suspects.

But also, The Sixth Sense and Twin Peaks: Fire Walks With Me ( the prequel to the tv series)

I think this counts too. And you know what? The 2011 prequel was surprisingly decent, too. Plus it had Tormund from Game of Thrones in it, as well as Kai Proctor from Banshee. But that one's not a mind-fuck like the original.

I liked the 2001 Tom Cruise film Vanilla Sky.
It was an odd and sad mix of romance, revenge, and twisted reality warp that kept me hooked from beginning to end.

"Liquid Sky" (1982) - directed by Slava Tsukerman, cast of "beautiful" unknowns

"Fingers" (1978) - directed by James Toback, cast included Harvey Keitel, Tisa Farrow (Mia's sister), Jim Brown

"Performance" (1970) - directed by Nicolas Roeg, cast included James Fox. Mick Jagger, Anita Pallenberg

Also Brian De Palma's "Dressed to Kill" and "Body Double".

And "Kalifornia" (1993) - directed by Dominic Sena, cast included Brad Pitt (playing totally against "pretty boy" type), Juliette Lewis, Kathy larson

Totally agree on "Spring Breakers", "Irreversible", "The Thing", "A Clockwork Orange", "Memento", "2001: A Space Odyssey".

And in the horror genre how about the first "Halloween" (1978), directed by John Carpenter (who also directed "The Thing"), and Poltergeist (1982) directed by Toby Hooper?
