She has literally been dancing for about 25 years now. I remember her dancing at the playmate in the nineties. Over the years we have crossed paths and I have tolerated her but never indulged. Years ago she said that if I give her 3000 dollars then I could have unlimited dances for the next year ( not interested). She has always seemed a bit loopy to me.
I have dropped by BareFax on a couple of Friday afternoons in the last couple of months, hoping to get one last 'good' experience there before I quit the SC scene. Still hasn't happened. I was a regular pre-pandemic in the daytime when I could sneak away from work.
Last time (a couple of weeks ago) it was a dancer who overcounted in our CR experience.
When I was there, the City of Ottawa Health Inspector guy was there asking about the plans to re-instate the lunch buffet (I think - might have been for an evening food service), maybe that will revitalize the club, but for now it's a no-go for me.

A weekly steak and potatoes lunch like pre-covid could get me to resume visiting.
Overall though, I find the boom in spas and MA services to more than make up for the changes in the club scene.

Which is suprising as she is/was a PhD student. Had a few memorable nights both inside and outside of the club as we often ran into each other around the university.

Nope...Maury say no way Jose!!! It was from about 2003ish til 2010. I was seeing other Barefax and Fanny's dancers from '99-2002.
PSA: For everyone, I would like to just remind our members that go to Gentlemen's clubs to always keep your money in a button up pocket or a secure wallet and to keep an eye out when during a Private Dance, that the dancer doesn't pickpocket you!
Long story short, went to the Fax for some fun, drank some drinks, got a few dances from different Dancers, then during the last dance session with the Dancer I went up with, she stealthy took my remaining cash from my dress shirt pocket and I didn't notice until after it was to late.
Please bare in mind, I always pay upfront for dances to avoid going over the desired song amount.
Unfortunately, there's really nothing you can do without accusing someone and starting a scene, so might as well cut your losses and make sure the money is more secure during dance sessions next time. I was still a fun time just ruined the chance of dancing with anyone else.

Fuck, I hope she didn't take you for too much. My wallet is always buttoned up. Closest I've been to this is being overcounted for songs.
Has anyone been there on a Friday afternoon lately? I keep hoping things will improve and it'll be worth the trip.
YMMV, but BareFax daytime is dead to me, I've tried to have a decent time there on Friday PM occasionally in the last 6 months or so (on 3-4 occasions) with no joy. Maybe if I hear good news in next little while, but for now I am cutting my losses...
Sad to hear, I used to love it there in the afternoons. What do you mean by dead? No girls working?
