Just back from Santa Marta, super cool place beautiful nature reserve nearby called parque tayrona. Highly recommended as a spot to do some real tourism or visit with a gf. Good nightlife, decent beaches, less expensive and scammy than Cartagena. The girls were a handful, and got a bit annoying at times but all in all a fun trip. Any longer and it would've been too much. Looking forward to going a bit crazy at fase dos or la isla tonight before I head to Bogotá later this week.

Definitely not for the price conscious but the selection is always top notch, only place of similar standards in Colombia I've been to is pleyclub in Cartagena which has similar pricing. Talking probably 600k for an all nighter, but I love the atmosphere and that I will always have multiple options for girls that are completely my type. I can then sit and talk with them til I find the one who is a personality and service match as well. I'd say 3 of my top 5 best experiences in Colombia have been here with the other 2 being in Cartagena. Medellín still gets the consistency prize though.... Hardly ever had a truly bad experience

The altitude + lingering cold knocked me on my ass Tuesday night so just crashed. Went out for dinner with girl I've known for a few years who's from Cartagena last night. Might do it again tonight, not sure if it will pan out but she's very attractive and closer to my age...might meet up again tonight.

So needed to get out and walk for a bit as I've been pretty inactive. Ended up going to chapinero and some casas. I used the list routard posted on isg. If you're going to Bogotá his detailed report is the Bible for mongering there in all forms. Chapinero is somewhat seedy, and the selection at the various places was not great at all, finally found one that was relatively cute and took her for a half hour. 40k pesos + 30k each for bbbj and rimming. Total $100k, about $35....def brings the avg down from last night's absurd spendathon. I like Bogotá a lot, but it's not for everyone. It's kinda gloomy and coldish, very busy and a little dirty but also much more cosmopolitan and international.

Great info, it’s been still my dream come true visiting Colombia. I don’t have even basic Spanish skills which keeps me thinking twice about going there.

I have been to Medelĺin, Bogota and Cali. Medelĺin is my fav. Stayed at the Novotel Medelĺin el Tesoro. Google it. Amazing hotel. Roof top pool. Banged a lot of chicks. They were so impressed with the hotel. I want to go back. Went there in oct 2019. Then the pandemic hit. Want to return. Any guys want to do a trip there?
You should definitely learn some basic Spanish before going, it will make the experience significantly better without a doubt. In terms of age and build you'll be fine regardless, it might limit you if looking for a girlfriend like it would in most countries but won't be an issue with prepagos. But download Google translate, and learn some basic phrases for sure.

To be honest I think this is the wrong question. The price point of the Facebook girls and the strip clubs I mentioned is definitely above the cost your average Colombian could afford to pay. However that doesn't make these girls low mileage necessarily (although some like Camila mentioned a few weeks ago I'm pretty sure is). The girls I've mentioned are definitely pros, but not seeing 10 guys a day either, dates tend to go for a few hours or a whole night as long as you're a good host and likeable. They're not working shifts with back to back appointments like you would see here. What tends to be consistent amongst these girls however is that they will be from the lower class areas almost exclusively.
Now on the flip side of this, the model type, high class escort is making a LOT of money from upper class Colombians (and probably other Latino business travellers as well). Having a sugar daddy type arrangement with a wealthy Colombian is common and culturally accepted in a place like Medellín, but this same girl is probably not willing to be seen out with just any old gringo. These wealthy Colombians have a ton of money and probably spend much more than most travelers would even consider. I've tried on ocassion to get in with some of the girls who legit do modelling work that I'm almost certain are prepagos but it's been a dead end for me mostl. I think these types of circles work on referall and comfort level as Medellín is very small town mentality and reputations are very important to them. They can explain away being seen with an older Colombian man, not so much a old gringo who is in town for the weekend and barely speaks Spanish.
All that being said, I would say your best bet would be to use seeking arrangement or something similar to find a girl who does the work on a less regular basis. Some guys on isg report success there, I've personally never tried.
