Nope they do not dabble in this industry at all but they understand the concept that if a SD wants to spend time together they must be compensated a good amount. My friends who are SB do not like to be mistaken for SPs
I have had SDs before myself but when I am in a Sugar arrangement I do not dabble with being an SP at the same time. Then again those who are SB ontop of being a SP I have come to the understanding that one must always do what makes them happy and or always them to maintain a level of monetary comfort they are accustomed too ^-^
I got a questions for you guys since you hobby and dabble in the SD/SB lifestyle how are you able to balance your time accordingly?
OK. The other part of my query was even if they're not in the industry, are they aware of what rates for SPS are. Point being that that gives them a frame of reference for what they should be asking for a 3 or 4 hour date, whereas a 20 year old student with no connections to the industry has no such frame of reference and $250-$300 for a similar date sounds like a pretty good deal.
As to your last sentence, if they don't want to be mistaken for SPs, they should charge less. LOL

But on that note I feel an SB should be able to ask a SD the monetary amount she expects and that he is comfortable withDamn that's good value IMO...if all SB are like that...SPs might be obsolete...

.IMHO, SB and SP are very different for girls with the main difference is that SB also chooses her SD while SP takes almost any clients. Hence, SB does not consider her time as a valuable commodity, instead, she finds someone she is OK to spend time and have sex with while getting the money she wants. Basically, get paid for the things you love (or, at least, do not hate). Hence, the pay is expected to be smaller and will vary a lot for different SDs.
So one more time, where are you finding them again?

So I made a profile on this site, I'm not really sure I understand it. Are all these women on this site seeking money?
From what I have found, many girls in Toronto are asking 500+ppm there are definitely some out there for lower. Just remember you get what you pay for. And even for $500 SB's aren't clock watchers, meaning I've had one stick around for 3 hours and multiple shots on goal. YMMV
It's a strange site because it tells you right on the site that soliciting is now allowed, yet the site is called "Seeking Arrangement"...lol. And yet when I filled out my profile, the section that says what your looking for I made it pretty vague, yet still got a notice that I to re-do because it violated the terms.
Anyway, I just wanted to clarify because some of the profiles comes across like the some of the women are treating it like a normal dating site so I just didn't want to come across a creepy when I start asking for their rates.
For me it's more intimate with a SB. (Unlike a SP)SB isn't meeting 4 guys a given day and is physically exhausted when your turn comes.
Another advantage for me is that I get to make a friend (she hangs around more, 3 to 4 hrs) considering I'm relatively new to the city.
Often with a SB , you have to factor in ; pick up and drop off, hotel , beverages - meal. Better , if she can host at her place ( and cook ) but this is rare.
They have a different concept of what it means to be a SB. We should give them an allowance because we can text with them every day and they will be there for us to tell their troubles to. LOL.

Keep in mind that these actvities are typically included in the time tab but you will need to pick up the tab for the drinks, meals, snacks, gifts, hotel expenses (you hosting, which is the norm) etc so add those to the pppm rate. So, a $300 ppm could easily balloon to $600 after all is said and done.
