Nah, I'm not saying people are racist, but to the extent I think some of the questions are serious, some of them strike me as seriously ignorant. Not racist as such, just ignorant. And as I said earlier, it is remarkable to me that people are that ignorant. I guess being a black guy, I know these things. I clearly fail to realize that others don't. Backburner certainly did not need to do this, but in answering some of the serious questions it showed what kind of a person he is. Lets see yours.
I probably have nothing in common with BB but I'd certainly sit and have or even buy him a drink because I think he is a fair person who is honest about an issue that is still touchy to some in our society. Cant say that about everybody.
Everyone see another as another race at some point. My question was serious. Upon answering, I think BB is a man, not a black man, but a man first, who tries to see the world and people as an equal. And also can admit that not only blacks can see racism too but that goes for everyone. Cant say that about everyone.
I try to see everyone as equal too but unfortunately I agree with BB theres a lot of work to be done. And that starts with your own self, not others.
Everyone is/can be racist and have certain thoughts/opinions about different races.
Seriously, I can name you many incidents where blacks can be just as racist to others, including from my own personal experience, but how often do you hear others cry racism?
If I'm racist for saying this then feel free to say I am.
It is what it is, the truth is there. Whether or not you want to open your eyes and admit to it is up to you. But look at yourself first before you judge others is what I alwasy say.
To me its sad that in a multicultural city like Toronto, there is still plenty of racism to go around.

I agree with you on BB being a decent guy and fielding questions like this. That's donwnright decent of him. He's probably enlightening a few folks. Then again, maybe I can't understand the joke and I am demonstrating myself to be a complete fucking idiot (which makes me wonder what that makes you, but anyways... No need to get nasty right?)
I totally agree with you about EVERYONE being racist. Xenophobia (which gives rise to racism along with ignorance) knows no bounds. Education and tolerance is the best defence. I applaud BB for educating us about the views of "Angry Black Men" and their world.
Myself, I see nothing to be angry about in my world. Lucky me I guess. It still pisses me off (a bit anyways) that it's always black guys getting gunned down by cops for no reason (it happens all the fucking time!!!!), but eh, if the world was perfect, what would I bitch about right?
So far as my hatred goes, it extends only to Klanners (see my comments about that little witch in Winnipeg who should be drawn and quartered along with her vile parents). I hate them. I have a general disdain for all of humanity and would (on most days) kill them all without a single regret. I'm not picky though and I'd happily start with myself if I could be certain that all of humanity would perish.

do you ever sunburn, is that possible for a black person? scientifically with the darker skin you would absorb more sunlight than a white person. if you do burn, depending on your skin tone maybe it wouldn't visibly show but it would still hurt? sunburn makes me angry
why is anyone that is mixed race automatically claimed by the black community? Tiger Woods for example, he is 1/4 Chinese, 1/4 Thai, 1/4 African American, 1/8 Native American, 1/8 Dutch. But nobody ever thinks of him as an asian golfer.
