What are amps?
Asian Massage Parlours = amps. The term commonly used on ECCIE for them.
ECCIE is a good board to check out hobby action in the USA.

Are you willing to apply the same standard to our mask policy?
That was an easy question. You know the answer and chickened out. Your answer had no wisdom. Like I said, you are all about ideology and just proved it.

China is to blame.

100 percent.

I firmly believe that this virus was manufactured at the Wuhan Institute Virology. Call me a conspiracy kook, I don't care. I don't know if it got out by accident or on purpose, but it's Made in China.
I'll call on you that conspiracy theory and raise ya an even kookier conspiracy theory Captain.

I firmly believe Putin and his KGB, who ARE very skilled in these sorts of things, created covid 19 in Russia in the first place, then surreptitiously planted it in Wuhan labs knowing it would leak out and spread worldwide, insuring China take the blame for it all.

Who knows, maybe even Traitor Trump was in on it and agreed on it, hoping with Putin's help, this would help get Traitor Trump re-elected!

Fury as Republican appears to glorify lynching in hearing on violence against Asian Americans
Did you even read the article?? He's talking about the Chinese Communist Party, not the Chinese people

Mr Roy opened his remarks saying that “victims of race-based violence and their families deserve justice” but then added that his “concern about this hearing is that it seems to want to venture into the policing of rhetoric in a free society, free speech, and away from the rule of law and taking out bad guys.”
"When we start policing free speech we’re doing the very thing that we’re condemning when we condemn what the Chinese Community Party does to their country," he said. "Who decides what is hate? Who decides what is the kind of speech that deserves policing?”

He also invoked a reference to lynching: “There’s an old saying in Texas about find all the rope in Texas and get a tall oak tree. You know, we take justice very seriously, and we ought to do that. Round up the bad guys.”

Small wonder that politicians do nothing on this.
Politicians are part of the problem. Some never condemn acts of violence against minority groups of people. Some did not condemn the storming of the Capitol on January 6th. Sure the shooter was sick in his head He targeted and killed minority women. Unfortunately he will spend the rest of his life in a psychiatrist hospital at the tax payers expense. Enough said.

It's meaningless to condemn violence if you praise it happening elsewhere in the world. Case in point Hong Kong. They suffered through a year of violent protests including an attack on their legislature. Western media called that a "pro-democracy" protest. The same things happen in the US and suddenly it's unacceptable.

Back to the OP's story though, the US is never going to solve this problem unless the 2 sides come to unholy compromise. The pro-gun camp has to give some ground and the anti-gun came has to give some. People have the right in the US to own and keep firearms, but that cannot violate people's right to life.

This thread went from paying respects to the victims and families to discussion about COVID and who to blame. Too bad we never stay on the topic.
Derailments are done on purpose.

First spa had no asians

Second spa (and the single worker at third spa who was outside) were all asian

Its no diff than in GTA where 2 spas next door / across road / same building has similar spas

Unless you can prove he frequented the spa he shot up before the incident the racism charge is circumstantial at best

I'm not making any malicious accusations. The fact is that thousands of infected Chinese nationals were responsible for spreading Covid around the world. What else is there to say?
Avoiding the fact that genetic tracing showed the covid strains that first hit Canada came through Europe. Also worth mentioning that many Canadian nationals travel the world including to China.

p.s. As a legal term, responsibility would include some aspect of intent or at least negligence and it is ridiculous to assign responsibility to people who had no idea they were infected with a serious, communicable disease.
