Petless at the moment, I had to put my cat down about a month ago after 14 great years. I'm having a hard time trying to decide whether to get another.
Condolences on the recent loss of your cat. Please vote "cat owner" in memory of your late cat.Petless at the moment, I had to put my cat down about a month ago
Aaawwww....he looks ready for a mateSeeing as Rockslinger's oversight means I can't vote in the pole, I'll just have to add my two cents here.
I proudly cohabitate with two parrots...Cockatiels to be precise. Both are "white faced". Hugo is my male, and has the standard white face markings. Chuck is a female, and has a pied pattern. No, I will not breed them, as they are too closely related.
Hugo, the sexy monster.
Last I heard birds were actually the second most popular pet.Sorry about that. I just naturally assumed that the two most popular pets are dogs and cats (based on personal experience with friends and neighbours).
But can your bird do this??!!Last I heard birds were actually the second most popular pet.
Chuck
Now as for their names, when I got them the breeder said they were both males. And they were both were above average in weight. (Hugo was supposed to have weighed 115g, when average is 80-90g) So I gave them names that one would associate with big guys. When I got them home, Hugo dropped a lot of weight, dropping to 75g. My vet in the end suspected that Hugo was still young and hadn't started being active, so the 115g was baby weight. So once he came to my home, he was encouraged to be out, play and fly, so that weight came off. Now they weigh in at 96g for Chuck, and 85g for Hugo. The vet just marvels at Chuck, and says she's a very strong bird and has excellent muscle tone.
yes. I have a dog and two cats, but there's no option for both. Are you a pet owner?
Please, just pick one. Originally, I wanted to offer only the following TWO choices.yes. I have a dog and two cats, but there's no option for both.
