It’s not exploitation at all… Rather, think of it as a symbiotic relationship of sorts. Both parties get what they want and walk away with no strings attached. In some cases, it can evolve as well. I’ve got it pretty much dialled in. The key word is exploit; which implies an unfair exchange or that someone is being taken advantage of. The most exploitive scenario would involve two people at the bottom end of the social ladder (say a close to minimum wage worker and a street walker). The last time I interacted with a street walker was 2017; a lot lizard offered me outdoor sex for $60 (I declined) when I was walking across a truck stop parking lot to get to my favourite massage place. What she was offering was about 15 minutes of work for her. Now, you compare that to her male equivalent: an unskilled minimum wage earner with social difficulties (which preclude him from getting a civilian sex partner). Minimum wage in Calgary in 2017 was around $15/hr; so this guy will have to work 4 hrs to get 15 minutes of this woman’s time. That’s an exchange ratio of 16:1 for unskilled labour. When you consider the tendency of the sex drive to cloud judgement, this is an exploitive transaction.
