Apparent bombing in Oslo, Norway

A sign of the times we're in. I found out about the bombing not from any news source but from a Norwegian friend of mine that I was chatting on facebook with who was out of the country. His family called to say their was a bombing near them but they were all okay. I can't find much news on this. As I understand it, the authorities have linked the two incidents and say there's a Norwegian in custody. Anyone, know anything? The TV news networks seem to not be reporting this that much....weird!!!

That doesn't sound like a White, Catholic organization. I thought maybe Timothy McVeigh did it (White, Irish, Catholic, male).Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami has claimed responsibility.
This is one part that dosen't fit, either this norwegian shooter is a Muslim convert. Or perhaps the bomb and the island incident are not linked, and the shooter is just a schizofrenic that lost it. The killer is white, christian and member of the extreme right wing. He killed at least 80 of the social democratic teenagers.
The police now is saying that they believe he is also responsible for the bomb blast in Oslo.

Obviously, one did. Most of the youths killed were between the ages of 16 and 22, some as young as 13. Especially considering this was Norway they could not have seen this coming. A single individual armed with an automatic weapon can kill alot of people very quickly. Also he had them on a very small island, you could almost say tiny, and basically hunted then down, which is why many took to the water to try and swim away. Innocence lost. Norway will never be the same.Summary: did one guy alone kill 80 people?
If he was Muslim some on this board would blame "right wing" foreign policy anyway....so it's always the conservative Christians fault. The difference is that conservatives and moderates actually seem to feel bad about the victims regardless of the perpetrators. The lefties seem to have no compassion. If a right-winger did it, they gloat that it's great propaganda. If a radical Muslim did it they try to deflect blame towards the "right". If both cases it's like the victim aren't even real people. Besides this whole right/left thing as discussed on terb is bullshit anyway. Some of the self-described lefties on this board don't sound that different than fascist pre-WWII. All I know is a lot of innocent people are dead...mostly kids and some try to exploit this for disgusting political points.....nauseating.
