Yuja Wang started her career as a piano accompanist with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra founded by Claudio Abbado. She recently broke up with Klaus Makela, he's more Duran Duran than Claudio Abbado. She still tours with the MCO, she played a part in Maestro Abbado's funeral. She's kept her personal life private, she can't resist a relationship with someone named Leonidas.

I love classical music. I played in a neoclassical progressive metal band. My bass teacher would transpose cello parts for me. My guitarist was amazing. He could play damn a pear anything by ear. He did such blistering sweep arpeggio solos. He went on to become a conductor.

This is a pretty accessible prog band that I like that incorporates classical elements. Maybe some classical fans would like them.
