Amazing performance even though he only sang half the aria.

Classical music is in more popular songs than we can imagine: Spanish Caravan - The Doors.

I was on a date that didn't appear to be going very well. We never seemed to manage to break the ice. As I was about to drive her home this came on the radio, I switched channels for something more contemporary. She told me switch back she loved Mozart. So I took the long way to her place so that we could hear the piece through. It was a date I'll never forget.

sometimes there comes a time in life when a bunch of your emotions, memories, experiences, thoughts, ratializations come together in one symphonic harmony and it starts to make sense to you, you are that much closer to your own personal truth and many of the things you said, did, thought or felt start to make sense to you...for me this moment is this song, is this movie, is this message, is this emotion....just watched this movie and mind = blown....not to many times this happens and this piece of music compliments so perfect...just wow

I can think of many pieces of music I've been listening to and will
continue to enjoy. When the music is a lovely small tune you can't
help playing in your head every once in a while it becomes something
special in your life. Richard Rodney Bennett's 'Nicholas and Alexandra'
features one of the most enthralling introduction music in movies but
to me it is the children's theme that makes it into that special something.

The best sex is had with a bottle of Mateus and classical music.

You want to completely destroy her defense mechanisms and turn her into a quivering mass of goo....if she doesn't respond, she has a heart of stone and not worth your time....play this.

Bruckner was a shy little man who wrote thunderous music.

Whenever depression comes creeping at my door, I play this:

Isn't it also the Japanese who once hired some Olympic gymnasts
to perform in nude? Wish they also have naked ballet and opera.

Having watched the naked concert above I need to listen to
this piece of religious music for spiritual cleansing and redemption.

Tchaikovsky's magnificent symphonic poem "Manfred" is in my view his
most underrated work. It has all the elements like lush melodies
and drama that make his other symphonies popular. And yet none of T's
symphonies came close to Manfred's dramatic tension and excitement IMO.
Leonard Bernstein thought Manfred was a piece of trash. He might have
changed his view if he had a chance to hear Toscanini's hair-raising performance
of Manfred with the banal parts trimmed off. Manfred is a rather long
work running about 50--55 minutes. If you like me are left shattered by
the anguish and the grandeur of the final 5 minutes of the work you may
find listening to the entire work an unforgettable experience.
