C canucklehead Active member Oct 16, 2003 2,428 17 38 Sep 30, 2009 #22 My nephew had the same issue or something similar ... i popped out the drive put in a new 2.5 inch and put the latest firmware on a usb key and booted and formatted the new drive and it worked.
