Actually "Semites" include the non Jews of the Arab World.
For example, Syrians are also Semites. As are Lebanese. Even Saudis are Semites. Simply making it refer to Jews is an incorrect use of the word.

So being against Israel and wishing its destruction is not the same as wanting to destroy the Jewish people?

That's correct, being against an Israeli policy isn't the same as wishing its destruction or hating Jewish people.
You didn't ask earlier if I was for the destruction of Israel. The existence of Israel isn't wrong, many of the current policies are. Many Jews believe the same thing.
Yes, but it's still not antisemitic to hate Israel's policies which is the link you want to make.

You can support a country and not be 100% behind all policies.
I am sure you do not support all of Canada's policies yet you support the the Country.

I do believe you have the right to speak your mind and that includes disagreeing with me or anyone else.
There are things in theocratic governments I am vocally against.
Myself being an American I would like to see free elections in every country in the world as well every mans right to hold property and citizenship.
All rights of citizenship be granted to all citizens.
