Actually "Semites" include the non Jews of the Arab World.an·ti-Sem·i·tism (ān'tē-sěm'ĭ-tĭz'əm, ān'tī-)
n.
1.
Hostility toward or prejudice against Jews or Judaism.
2.
Discrimination against Jews.
Just as Italians are LatinosActually "Semites" include the non Jews of the Arab World.
For example, Syrians are also Semites. As are Lebanese. Even Saudis are Semites. Simply making it refer to Jews is an incorrect use of the word.

Being against an Israeli policy isn't antisemitism, even if it's the first accusation that always comes out.
There aren't many on here who hate the Jewish people.
Maybe you should have read the whole article you cited:Actually "Semites" include the non Jews of the Arab World.

That's correct, being against an Israeli policy isn't the same as wishing its destruction or hating Jewish people. So being against Israel and wishing its destruction is not the same as wanting to destroy the Jewish people?
You would support abolishing all islamic states?
That's correct, being against an Israeli policy isn't the same as wishing its destruction or hating Jewish people.
You didn't ask earlier if I was for the destruction of Israel. The existence of Israel isn't wrong, many of the current policies are. Many Jews believe the same thing. But that is not what I said
are you for the destruction of Israel?
Would you agree that those who wish to wipe Israel from this earth may hate Jews? You didn't ask earlier if I was for the destruction of Israel. The existence of Israel isn't wrong, many of the current policies are. Many Jews believe the same thing.
Yes, but it's still not antisemitic to hate Israel's policies which is the link you want to make.Would you agree that those who wish to wipe Israel from this earth may hate Jews?
Not at allYes, but it's still not antisemitic to hate Israel's policies which is the link you want to make.
True, just don't make the link that being against Israel's policies is antisemitic. Not at all
You can support a country and not be 100% behind all policies.
Which policies are you against?True, just don't make the link that being against Israel's policies is antisemitic.
Not at allYou will smear anyone being against any Israeli policies as antisemitic, so it doesn't really matter.
I agree with peaceful coexistence. A challenge for both sides.then do you agree with Israel destroying Palestinian houses to put up their own settlements?
spoken as a man who understands freedom and tolerance.I'll try to give my perspective. I'm Jewish and:
- I'm obviously not anti-semetic, if we agree that means that term refers to one who hates Jews
- I'm am STRONGLY in favour of the concept of an Israeli State, or a Jewish Homeland, if you will.
- I'm not necessarily in full agreement with some of Israel's actions/stances in regards to its presence in the Middle East, but this does not mean I want Israel or the Jews "destroyed" or "wiped-off the face of the Earth"
