I think the Tater's fate is sealed. If he is found guilty he will smoke Romanian prison inmates crotch cigars for years, then when he is released his scumpire will be in ruins. If he is found not guilty, he will be run out of the country with not many jurisdictions that want him, citizen or not. He will not be welcome in the UK or USA where has dual citizenship.
He was living the good life, if he had done so under the radar he could have avoided all his troubles. It was his big mouth that has him in sheisse up to his nostrils.
It is important to remember that the "court case" here won't look like a trial in the US or Canada due to the different system.
It isn't an adversarial process, if I understand the way Romanian courts follow the Civil Law tradition.

One of his personality flaws is that he is a psychopath/sociopath, that is not to say that he is a serial killer he merely puts himself first ahead of all other people. Should he lose his wealth/empire/fame he may self destruct, be suicidal or go on a rampage and harm others when he has lost all that is dear to him. At this time he has no choice but to think that he will get through this without incarceration and then resume his fabulous life.

This is very true. I have several Muslim friends who drink and have a good time when we go out and quite a few Roman Catholics who fuck around on their wives like true champs. LOL
Although in Tate's case, I'd put money on it he is not a practicing Muslim in any shape or form and it is all a facade.
