The biggest knock on Michelson and Dustin Johnson for years was they couldn't win majors, nobody cared how many tour wins they had. Same for Roddick, nobody cares how many atp wins he has.

I think most people look at one time major winners as flukes.

Which proved to be meaningless for all those years. They have won multiple majors, so the knockers were impatient and totally wrong as to how good they were. Winning a lot of tour events is obviously meaningful.

How much golf do you watch? It is MicKelson. H and K are not even adjacent on the keyboard. To misspell his name makes one wonder.

Tour events don't matter to the players. Kepka said what they all think. The others don't want to piss off the sponsors

You are obviously someone who does not follow golf (Koepka not Kepka, Mickelson not Michelson are 2 of the most well known players in the world.) A regular tour win is close to $1.5M. Tour events don't matter. Hahaha.

Kepka even said they don't matter, not to the elite players. They're tune ups and to stay sharp, they still compete but only majors matter to the top players. No different than the top quarterbacks who win mvps but not super bowls. They don't care about the mvp part.

Think Aaron rodgers looks at his mantle with several mvps and 1 super bowl and is thrilled. Think Tom Brady cares about winning mvp.
They are nice accolades but matter very little.

I'm so ashamed I spelled their names wrong.

Along with the misspelling in the title. The wrong spelling of so many prominent names indicates that the opinions that you are spouting are not informed ones. Anyone who actually follows these sports knows how the names are spelled. One error, OK, just a typo. But you misspell every one.

Many players have done what she did only to return to being fairly average.
It will depend on how her body adjusts as an adult. If it stays brittle then you're probably right.
She started 2019 with a bum shoulder and ended 2019 with a bum knee. Sat out 2020 and the 2021 Australian Open.

Retired from the Miami Open finals with an ankle injury. Now has contracted COVID. The poor women can't buy a break.

Found this thread, flamed out again, suspicious injury, looked like she wanted an excuse to lose. What a flake, can't even make it to the quarters with serena done lol. Looks like her and shapo are average at best. Go Leyla.

Really not sure why she can't seem to go more than 2-3 matches without a quad or hamstring muscle injury of some sort. Her thighs are massive...why can't she handle the stress/strain of a tennis match at this stage of her career? Good player, just maybe not made for pro sports.

Bianca tore off a toenail in the semi-finals of the Miami Open which caused to overcompensate and injure her ankle. It was a war of attrition against Maria Sakkari, the Greek knew that if she won the second tie breaker she would win the match. Bianca has been running on talent, she's still not match fit.

After she defected from Czechoslovakia, Martina Navratilova had an entire menu of physical and emotional problems - then she won 18 Majors. There's still plenty of time for Bianca to get fit, Ash Barty didn't start to put it together until she was 24.

Pretty sure BA is not now, nor ever will be, a Martina Navratilova-type superstar. Not even the tennis community sees THAT much potential in her existing talent level.
