At first I thought he was quitting b/c he knew he wasn't going to win and he could get some better credibility by leaving now and creating a media storm. He would win b/c he could always say he quit Idol, they didn't turf him, and he could win over some credibility from those people who think Idol is a sham to manufacture musicians.
But now I'm starting to think that maybe he does have some kind of horrible skeletons in his closet (and I suspect skeletons aren't the only closet reference you could make about him)...

Why the heck did Anwar sing a slow song? He should have showed off his powerful voice by singing something up beat. I still think it's between Anwar and Nadia.

I can't wait for this summer when the have Ultimate Idol. It will be Kelly Clarkson vs Rubben Studdard vs Fantasia Barrino vs Anwar Robinson vs Kaylan Porter vs Ashlee Simpson.

I prefer the episode before where JH did Paul Anka's put your head on my shoulder's. And if you heard his version of Awake in a Dream, it puts that little curly blonde hair terd-burglar with 12 year girl lips, to shame.

Mikaleah is really stepping up in the appearance department...she is getting hotter looking week by week...she's no "skinny-minny" but is growing into a full-bodied, voluptous, women...love the hair....and love those lips... 
There could be some merit to this. I heard it's 7 years. Who would want AI owning your ass for that long (or any amount of time) if they didn't have to. Look at what they put Kelly Clakson through with World Idol. She's probably more successful than any of those other contestants will ever be, yet she lost rather handily, if I remember correctly. I thought the judges were off base with their harsh comments to like, the first 6 performers last night. I didn't think any of them were awesome, but I don't understand how you can say Jessica or Anthony was horrible, and then later rave over Scott's lukewarm rendition of 'Ain't Too Proud to Beg'. And speaking of which, they are great songs, no argument, but I am so over Motown, and never want to hear one of those songs again. Or maybe I just don't want to hear piss-poor versions of them.
The big winners last night were Dusty Springfield, Blood Sweat & Tears, and Burt Bacharach/Hal David, all with two songs each. And boos to that poser, Constantine for saying 'You Made Me So Very Happy' was a Motown song. I could maybe see one of the other contestants making that mistake, but a supposed "rocker" should know better.
The big winner in the competition last night was Nadia Turner. She looked great, and she sang the hell out of that Dusty Springfield song. I had stated earlier that I thought Jessica and Carrie were stronger women, but Nadia is growing on me, and I retract that statement. Speaking of looking great, I thought all of the girls looked hot last night, which I guess is attributable to the better makeup and hair styling you get when you are a finalist.
Nikko... what a freaking joke. And, I'm sorry, 'I Want You Back' does not qualify as a 60's song. Hope you didn't unpack, buddy, because you are going home.

IMO, Nikko should have been the one to go, not Lindsay. While I liked looking at Lindsay, and certainly could have done so for at least a few more weeks, she was "dead woman walking" anyway, no matter how you slice it. If not this week, she would have been gone next week or at the latest the week after.
