Scott being in still baffles me. He is not good looking at all, he is definitely not the best singer, rather the worst, and to boot after Constantine is the most annoying. He strikes me as being not very educated either.

If you recall, last year Fantasia was in the bottom three with two other black girls who were all better than the rest of the field. I could see that reasoning...after all, black performers right up to the 70's couldn't use the same bathroom as whites or swim in the same swimming pool, but they sold out concerts all the same to segregated crowds of white and black because they had talent...

there aint no racism , Fantasia and the velvet teddy bear are both colored and they won .
at least with this season its suspenseful , the last two everyone knew the velvet teddy bear and Fantasia would definatly be the winners . Anwar sucks too boring , did you see his somali grandma in the audience dressed in full hajib and traditional sarong .

Really, who the hell is voting for fat fuck? Unbelievable.

One thing I like what they did with the format tonight is letting the bottom 3 choose the song that they wanted to sing. More often than not, the song that the eliminated contestant sang the night before was to their undoing, i.e. probably their worst performance. I always found that uncomfortable to watch. However, it should be only done by the one that leaves; if you're consistently in the bottom 3, what are you going to sing?

Although, I admit, I have not checked around other gambling sites to see how the odds compare. My experience, however, is that the odds are consistent from site to site, at least, as they pertain to sports.

Back to the results, I guess I kind of knew, in my gut, that Nadia was going, but I was hopeful, when once again, I saw the fat fuck in the bottom 3. I am mystified as to fatso's appeal, and what kind of loser shit for brains would vote for him.

Bo was a mild surprise in the bottom 3, but let's face it, he hasn't really wowed us since the prelims when he did 'Whipping Post'. He simply doesn't have Constantine's pre-teen girl appeal, but to his credit, he hasn't stooped so low as to actively court them.

Sooner or later, either Nadia or Vonzell were going to go, because you can't have two black chicks in the finals. Vonzell simply has more momentum, and has noticeably improved week to week, whereas Nadia seemed to peak and then plateau. When she sang 'You Don't Have to Say You Love Me' last night, I was reminded of how great she had been, and how quickly she had lost it. She simply didn't keep it going.

Even Nadia made a slight joke about her song choice last night, and how she always tried to pick songs that were maybe a little offbeat, but that meant something to her, personally. While that is admirable, artistically, you also have to remember this is still largely about having broad, popular appeal. And as she herself admitted, "That doesn't seem to working for me anymore."

I will miss her. She was a sexy chick.

Perfect choice of song(Vehicle - Ides of March) for him from the 70's...stood out from all the dance music...

Suprisingly....Constantine in 2nd place....he sang "Nights on Broadway"...good arangement, perfect key for his voice...a little Vegas-y...but so what...he is working his program to get the "tighties" and their mom's to vote for him.

Vonzell was a little weak with the Chaka Khan(I'm Every Women) song...phrasing was a bit poor...it's a harder song to sing well than it sounds...

Carrie....what were you thinking? Dressed for the prom and singing McArthur Park? Even if Donna Summers did it...she's clearly more comfortable singing country.

Scott did ok...he is not so stiff as previous weeks, and sang the whole song in tune...of course I could have too...

Anthony - forgettable...Tavares? sheesh....

Anwar....nobody can sing like Philip Bailey of Earth, Wind, & Fire....out of tune, couldn't hit the notes...time to pack...

Pretty much. She used to take pain killers all the time when she was performing and never got off of them. Apparently she's been really depressed about being single and is now using the pain killers to energize her for the show.
