Invasion of the Bodysnatchers, original was so well done. The remake was also good thanks to the twist. Not so much a true Sci-Fi but riveting non the same was Earth Girls are Easy thanks to Genna Davis

I wouldn't classify X2 and Spider-man as sci-fi either.

Maybe X2 and S2 would go under Fantasy or just Comic book movie!!

I think Action would be a better category for Spider-Man and X2.

Sure. Science fiction by definition means that science must be play a major role in the movie. Predator has very little science in it, it's essentially no different from a movie like Jaws. You have a scary creature attacking humans.

Some sci-fi movies have more of an emphasis on drama (GATTACA, The Truman Show), while others have more of an emphasis on special effects (Minority Report), while others emphasize action (Terminator 2).

A movie can belong to more than one category.

The imdb classifies predator under many categories: action/horror/sci-fi/Thriller
