Ya, I like The Time Machine too. Another good one. Wasn't it with Rod Taylor. That movie also had a good looking babe in it at the end.

For a moment, I thought you were talking about The Time Machine (2002) with Guy Pearce ... this movie sucked big time. The original 1960 version is a million times better, despite the outdated effects.

Soylent Green.
Meh.
A good idea, but a fairly poor execution.

Uh ... yeah, like I said - Soylent Green.

You're looking for Fantastic Voyage - again, great idea (most of these were based on short stories / novellas), not great execution.

Oh Yeah

I Forgot Dune

I liked the made for TV version better than the movie.

I read the book before I saw the movie which I didn't realy like. I've found that if I like the book I wont like the movie and vice versa.

I agree, I don't think Dr Stangelove is categorized as Sci-Fi.

First Matrix was pretty good. The second and first were not so good, too much emphasis on special effects and not enough on plot.

Anybody see Equilibrium? It was pretty entertaining.

I was thinking the same thing; do comic book movies count as sci-fi.
There is an element of sci-fi in both X2 and S2!

Don't know if it quite fits the genre, but Re-Animator.
