I fully know he did. It's all part of the fun.
I watched the game today with two diehard 'Colchoneros'. In his youth, one of them worked at Vicente Calderon and painted the number/seat fixtures on the stadium steps and walls.
The other is a lifetime season ticket holder who, although he lives in Toronto, will never give them up. Both of them are travelling to Lisbon next week.
At the end of the game, they both toasted Barcelona and then they treated me and my other cul'e friend to a a robust lunch with drinks. Likewise if it had been the other way around.
The afternoon ended with good conversation and the admiration of a team that has 15% of the Real Madrid payroll winning La Liga title and going to the CL final.
That, my friends, is how it should be done. With elegance, style and dignity.

A little closer to second home, Latina gained promotion to Serie A. They took their fate into their own hands by defeating 4th place Cesena 3-0. So Luis Enrique finally gets the job he wanted all along as the new coach of Barcelona. If Rudi Garcia had not come along I would have held bitter feelings against him for leaving Roma in the lurch. I hope they are drawn together in the opening round of next years CL.

TFC's defending is absolutely horrible. They need to sign an entire new back 4 if they wanna compete for the title
only thing they need to shore up... so far the attacking is very good, if not great.... losing Bloom and Caldwell hurt TFC very badly.. Haggalund and Henry are good in spurts, but playing all these games in strings is showing their youth and inexperience... in time though, they will be very good players... but for now, not so much
