Why not??

Watching it on a computer is still pretty good
I will also have to disagree but when it comes to not watching it or paying an insane amount to Rogers or Bell, I will take the computer, I just wish someone would come up with the technology for high quality video on those streaming sites. Someone asked about Borini, given time at Liverpool he will be really good I think, he has already shown some flashes of brilliance. Someone really needs to explain to me how Terry got away with the same crime as Suarez with a lesser punishment??? possibly because he was English hmmmm :)

Typical EPL.

It's a league rife with latent racism; the wetback gets 8 matches while the fine English lad only gets four. As Big Daddy would say, "can you smell the mendacity".

...and quite accurate, may I add.

I've never watched a game on my computer and never will. I follow the English league the most and there is Champions League so I'm covered...but watching a crappy stream from a computer chair just isn't the same!

never mind 5 years ago, flash back to 30 years ago where I had to look at the Star's sports section the next day to see what the score with one line, then we got Soccer Saturday on TSN that had highlights that were a week old and I thought that was great, but now with technology can watch a match or know a score immediately after it ends. We certainly have come a long long way but I absolutely refuse to pay Rogers 20 bucks for a single channel, and they have progressively over the years had fewer live matches than when the started. I will stick with streaming for now till something comes along that's better.

Yeah, I'm not paying for extra channels also. Rogers can kiss my butt

The turning point for football in Canada came during the 1978 World Cup. The closed circuit feeds at The Colosseum and Varsity Arena played to packed houses. Till then the only football available on television was the second half of Serie A matches on CHCH. It gave the group that eventually started TLN, the leverage to lobby the CBC for full broadcast of the 1982 World Cup. The rest is history.

Juventus 4 Roma 1
Torino 5 Atalanta 1

The axis of power in Italy has shifted from Milano to Torino, the fact that both clubs have their own stadiums is playing a major factor. When the city council bid for the 2006 Winter Olympics a fully functional football arena was in their plan. Shortly after that event, approval was given for Juventus to demolish Delle Alpe and build the new Juventus Stadium in it's place. Juventus is now a powerhouse while The Bulls have put together a good young team that will take them to Europe next year. I strongly recommend that when the Nutella City Derby is played, make the effort to watch it, you wont be disappointed.

Nutella City Derby hehe that's a new one I have never heard :) I would love to watch Serie A and La Liga as my refuse to join the herd support of Atletico Madrid is doing really well this year, but alas the powers that be have decided no Serie A or La Liga for you Canada.

On a side note did anyone see that Spurs defeat of Man Utd coming? and that Suarez guy is pretty good hmmm hehhe.

That was perhaps the start, but the real turning point came when MLS started up and Toronto eventually got their own franchise

True, but MLSE do not have a culture of winning, allowing the Saputo clan to sign Al Nesta for the Montreal Impact was a huge mistake.

Whoever said that Stephan El Sharaaway is a mediocre player better have a second look. He's scored five goals in three games, personally lifting a demoralized Milan club. The victory against Zenit is particularly sweet since their coach Vincenzo Spaletti has been tipped to replace Allegri at Milan.

It's about time that Vito Mannone lives up to his promise and becomes Arsenal's No.1. Sal Sirigu is one year older than him and he's been the No.1 for both Palermo and PSG.

Joe Hart looks like the singer of Glass Tiger - I wont hold that against him. England haven't had a decent goalkeeper since Peter Shilton.

The penalty was harsh, but if Aguerro had taken it Dortmund would have won the game.

At the opposite end, Juve looked lethargic against Shaktar.

due to wrangling, arguing, bidding, greed, stupidity and just general nonsense, there is no legal way for Canadians to watch El Clasico Real Madrid vs Barcelona or the Milan derby today, that just gets really on my nerves.

Yup. TFC made the same stupid mistakes, they stopped broadcasting many games on regular cable just so they could charge people more for specialty channels

we have had this discussion here numerous times, some people dont mind watching matches online, I am one of those, while others just cannot stand the idea, I understand where they are coming from, the quality is terrible many times looking something from Match of the Day in 1986, but for those who are La Liga and Serie A fans in Canada no other choice exists.

On a side note, the Falcao exiting in January from Atletico wont go away, the latest is he is going to Chelsea. Atletico are in deep debt and it seems possible that Money Bags Roman would pay a good fee. Kaka has been recalled to the Brazilian national side, am I the only one that for years has thought this guy was totally overrated?? yes a good player but he really hasnt lived up to the hype thrown his way.

Kaka in his prime was in top 5 players of the world.

But he's like many other Brazilians who lose their touch very quickly. It happened to Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Adriano and Ronaldinho also. It seems virtually overnight they lose their magic.

I dont really know why that is
