Let's be honest. How many wives really look forward to having sex with their husbands. I don't see her remarks as that shocking.

Maybe we should have a poll. How many guys really think their wife enjoys having sex with them.

...well my wife initiates about than half the time, which works out to roughly once a week for her, once a week for me. Some weeks she's more horny (after Aunt Flo typically I've noticed), and some weeks she rather not be bothered, but the overall average is about twice a week.

There was a period about two years ago when we went something like 23 days straight with sex - neither of us was prepared to stop the streak, and again, I'd say about half the time she cranked things up.

On top of all this, as I have posted before the M-R-S will literally ATTACK me if either A) She's been out with the girls and drinking, usually because some hot guy has been dancing with her all night and now she wants to work the sexual tension off on me, or B) I've been out at strip clubs drinking and smoking, and she can smell the booze and cigars on me, meaning she also knows I am probably horny as hell too. That one works like a charm just about every time...

Really, I'm not saying my wife is a dynamo in the bed, but you guys who have not sex lives at home....maybe its you???

Oh, I know that part of the problem is me. I grew up in an environment that taught that women found all things sexual to be disgusting, and there is still a part of me that feels guilty when I make a sexual advance toward my wife, as if I am expecting her to do something that at some level she finds repulsive. Having said that, she has never given me any indication that she feels differently.

This is part of the attraction of SP's. You can have sex with them and not worry about what they think of you.

And by the way, from what you have said I would think that your wife is a dynamo in bed. Do most guys agree?

...which is why I go to strip clubs, and why I go for the type of girls at strip clubs that I do. The Steak versus "juicy burger" analogy is actually very, very accurate. My wife is a real class act, which is of course very good in most ways, but...well...you know...sometimes a guy likes a little "skank" in his coffee...

i understand why (some) guys "hobby". Trust me - I'm not "above" it. It is just that I am happily married, in the relative sense. I wouldn't want to risk that doing something the M-R-S would NEVER approve of...so I do something that the wife has come to accept (and actually periodically "benefits" from...). As I told her the other day, I have my affairs "3 minutes at a time".

Hey, I know most SPs are hot. And no, while my wife isn't bad looking at all, she doesn't look like a 23 yo SP. But I've reached the point where I realize that 23 yo women are good for looking at - and not much else. My wife is fun both in AND out of bed...which is what is really imporant...far more important than the temporary thrill of being able to say "I just banged a super hot looking chick"...especially when you remember she did it because you paid her. To me, it is better to bang my wife knowing that she does it about half the time because she thinks I'M hot (again, relatively speaking).

This is what works for me. May not work for other guys...but I do think sometimes when I read posts I wonder "who started it". I mean...if you expected your wife to ALWAYS look like she was a 23 yo stripper...you had unrealistic expectations. If you didn't think she would EVER not be interested in sex as she got older, had kids, became more focused on her career...you had unrealistic expectations. If you exepcted your wife to fuck you like you are paying her $300 an hour to do so, and like she has a cocaine habit to support (in other words, as though her life depended on it)...you had unrealistic expectations.

Well said MLAM. You my friend a good man, and I am glad to see that the 63% divorce rate doesn't apply to you. I envy you. It is hard to take the plunge and get married, and I know for myself I am certainly not ready for it. I guess it is nice to know that there are marriages out there that work. I am proud to know you my fellow TERBite. Keep having those 3 minutes affairs.
