Is that even that late? Say the Sens finish their game at 10:00 PM. By the time they ride the bike, visit the trainer, deal with the media, shower, change, get out of the rink and meet up at whatever bar, it's got to be somewhere between 12:00 AM and 1:00 AM.hardlicks said:Here's something I heard from a VERY reliable source: The night before the the last playoff game in Ottawa, Spezza, Heatly, and Emery were out til 3:00AM - - - get this: with some ladies playing strip darts. There's dedication to your team mates, coaches, and above all - your fans...........
If it were me I'd trade them all.
oh, ya, flame away.
I can't sleep if I go to the gym and run on the treadmill for 30 minutes at 9:00 PM. How amped up is a pro athlete after a game?
So it wasn't the night of the game, but that is the routine their body is used to.
Not to mention that they had at least 16 hours to rest and get ready for the game the next day.
Pro athletes are just people. So what if they want to go out and blow off a little steam now and then.
