Access delay...

I really really hope this is not true.....I also get off and on: There was an issue communicating with your captcha provider. More information will be available soon. (nothing happens)
Also if I'm using the laptop and tablet I can't see the captcha its too small. If you click on the audio captcha it sounds like the exorcist at slow motion. LMAO I also hope this is not for long...
A website can't block a threat without knowing where the threat is coming from.
After you log into Terb a few times those problems should go away, also Safari browser seems to be more tolerated by Cloudfare than other browsers.

I get asked to retype the captcha constantly.
That should go away after a you've accessed Terb a few times. And clear your browser and empty cache ..that could be helpful.
I don't get this problem even when I use a public terminal.

So this software is scanning our computer for viruses and looking at content otherwise how would it know that there is a threat?

Will try Safari....

Maybe the cops and government is using C36 to monitor Terb activity.. Just sayin'
That doesn't even make sense. They don't need C-36 to monitor terb and there are easier ways to monitor activity on this site.

Services like cloudflare and Akamai are used to protect web sites from ddos and web security hacks, on top of the web optimation they do (delivering content faster.)

They generally sit as a smart cache and firewall between you and the web server, and will block traffic malicious traffic from getting to the web site. It isn't scanning your computer, but is scanning the requests your browser makes to the web site.

No, it's not scanning anything inside your computer. All it monitors is what kind of requests are coming from your computer, and how many of them are coming at a time. Too many requests (like thousands per second) and it's likely that you have an infected computer that's been compromised by hackers to carry out a DDoS attack on Terb, and it will cut off your IP address from access to Terb.
Thanks for that summary. I hope it's accurate, and just wish there'd been some way for Fred to have provided it before our log-ons started being hijacked by Cloudflare's utterly unhelpful Splash page. Can't say that what comes up on a Google hunt for Cloudflare is very complimentary either.

I get this crap every single time I do anything on here now. Clicking a post, posting, changing sections, etc. On my mobile, tablet, & computer. Its beyond annoying, often causes my posts to be lost, and actually deters me from wanting to visit the site. It takes twice as long now to do anything on terb. Grrrr!! So frustrating! It won't go away. I've cleared my cookies, history, etc....doesn't help one bit.

I am not getting it that much but I get it a lot. This is growing tiresome. Can't imagine what you are going through.

The information on the page doesn't even make sense. It says:

What can I do to prevent this in the future?

If you are on a personal connection, like at home, you can run an anti-virus scan on your device to make sure it is not infected with malware.

]

Just how on earth can they know my PC has malware?

The system checks your ip to see if it's in a database of known infected computers.

This is ridiculous. I can't even get in with I.E. This is #1 browser weather any of you guys like it or not. That means a shit load of potential guys are not getting in.

Clearing cache isn't helping me either. I have to wait ten seconds every time I log in to be redirected.
10 seconds isn't a lot of time ? Even in this day and age ? However pages should load faster than before once you log in. I've to say everything is working fine from my end. I use iPhone, iPad and a chrome book - all devices are working perfectly. Not to mention the thousands of spammers and other bad players from Eastern Europe who are being blocked by the software daily.

you can run multiple browsers on your computer but I just tried the site with IE no problems at all here. Our traffic is no different than before the software installation.

I will tolerate it since it protects Terb and is just a minor nuisance.

That is ridiculous. So pretty much everyone on this forum is infected? Plus how is some system out there going to know your PC is infected?
