As a fan of blends I found this quite interesting. They sped up the tempo. I do love the bass but the rest of the arrangement I'm not diggin' very much. I much preferred the 1970's less poppy version of Kool & the Gang who I consider to be one of the most important black music artists of all time. Songs like thisI'm not a Rhianna fan at all-the "eh eh eh" -, but I love Kool & The Gang and somehow someone made this work real good.
Such a crazy good mashup, nice cameo surprise just past the halfway point.
They were just inducted into the Rock n Roll HOF this year. "Award Tour" I'd put in my 10 best Tribe songs of all time. That whole LP is just sublime. Here's another less known one that I love so muchTribe!
