Lets hope coach John Tortorella never gets the coronavirus.

He definitely would be a super spreader, highly contagious single human wrecking crew potential harm to thousands upon thousands of hockey fans and bystanders.

Being a social butterfly doesn't mean that you are enjoying life . It means that you are depended on other people to have a good time . SAD
Being a social butterfly and depending on others for happiness is NOT the same thing. I would consider myself a bit of a social butterly. I love human interaction, I love discussions, intellectual coversations, connecting with others, etc. Singing and dancing with others....

But I am also content to spend a lot of time with myself. I enjoy dancing by myself, I've gone on two small trips by myself...I enjoy my alone time as well. It's good to strike a balance.

I've had no issues during the lockdown. I can sit and read, cook, do yoga, etc. I'm quite content but I still look forward to meeting up with my friends when all of this is over. I love my friends.

If your friends talk badly about you after you leave, then they are not your friends. Or, (and please don't take offence) you are giving them a reason to talk badly about you.

A reason to make fun about me . It's not just me. They do it to everyone . I'm at a point where I don't trust anybody . Have been screwed by many so called friends . People that I thought were really good friends . Don't really care what anyone has to say anymore . Have you ever been talking to a friend and some else shows up and the person directs the conversation to that person leaving you says da . Those aren't friends .

I don't trust people at all . There is always angle . My best friend is my brother and he is really my only friend . We do everything together . Oh we may fight and argue a lot but we a brothers and it always works out .

I'm sure having friends has it's advantages. Getting you great deals on things and stuff like that .

I'm not much of a people person . Never was . I like the way things are .Here's an example of what happened tonight . Had so call friend ask me to give her ride to her girlfriends place . Her girlfriends dad passed away the other day . So I gave her a ride, made sure she sat in the back with a mask on and dropped her off . Then she says she forgot a few things at home that she needed to bring . OK back we go to her place . She was to call me around 3:am to pick her up . Guess what . No phone call . I stay up all night so I don't miss her call to take her home .

Here it is 8:30 in the morning . Nothing . You think that I'm gonna give her a ride home now when she calls . Not on your life . Can't even be bothered to call me and say that she would be spending the night . You would not believe the few things that I have done for her these couple of weeks and this how she repays me . No she is not my girlfriend .

Friends .... You can keep them

The people we call friends.... Whodini made a classic hip-hop song in the 80s about that very topic.

That is how stupid people are!

That is how stupid the damn government is!

Small business is the damn backbone of the Canadian economy (one of them at least) and here we are.

Too damn tired of arguing the same thing over and over again.

Canada is a nice country, but it is dumb.

What the government should have done was pay the wages of the workers like they are doing in the UK, 75% of the wages of the workers paid by the state now, until further notice. Then give the business owners grants or loans to ride out this storm. Doing it that way, protect jobs, it protects capital (the equity built up in the business). Since the bailout money is coming out in buckets, do the right thing for everyone involved. Small business is the damn backbone of the Canadian economy. Fucking ingrates. Do not like thinking about it. Truly annoying.

In this country, like who knows what is going on?

Just watch, Toronto City Hall will try to raise taxes across the board by 15% to 25% because of revenue shortfalls. They could go fuck themselves. Tory is the worst mayor ever!
This is essentially the thinking behind the SBA PPP program in the US that went through 350b in 14 days (more money today).

This is critical for a quick snap back in the economy. The employees of those small businesses need a place to go back to work. In the US 52% of employees work for a small business

Do a "snap opening" of small business and see if the former clientele rush in ! It wont happen, people are social distanced conditioned, fearful and mistrusting of the government, social media and each other right now. The bodies are still going to the morgue and will be for a while yet. Open up sports events, sit ten seats apart, the athletes, some wearing masks under their football helmets etc. .....does it make sense.? Go to the restaurant or bar and have your waiter wearing a mask ? The outfielders in baseball are social distanced but what about the umpire, back catcher and batter wearing masks. It will take a lot of time to change the way things are, to get consumer confidence back to get the public to trust the government(s) again. I guess the manufacturing sector could start up again, it would provide jobs but consumer spending and tourism is halted for now.

I think we all have example of ungrateful "friends". This example happened many years ago. I was friendly with several girls in the office. One of them asked me one day to help her move. I said sorry, no can do, have a tennis game to-night.

Next day I asked how the move went. She said she found another guy to help her. However, her cat hid behind the radiator. When he tried to get the cat out. The damn feline ripped his arm to shreds.

However, I have one friend who is a computer geek. Can't live without him. I keep him fully stock with beer.

Just an up date of what happened . She texted me at 12:30 pm next day and asked if I could give her a ride home . She offered a hand job for me being so nice . I didn't reply . I was doing her a favour as a friend . Not to get a hand job out of it . Thanks but no thanks .

By not telling me that she was going to stay the whole night shows disrespect . I stayed up so I wouldn't miss her call .

Friends . You gotta love some of them . LOL

I've never had a female friend offer me a handjob. It's time for you to negotiate. Tell her you'll drive her but for BBBJCIMWS instead of a handjob. Ensure you get it BEFORE you start driving her anywhere. Doing anything in a car is uncomfortable so pull up behind a dumpster somewhere to handle your business.

Another nail in the coffin. Food delivery companies are charging 30%-40% for their home delivery service. This is unaffordable for many mom and pop restaurants. If these food deliverers don't adjust their service fee, they will lose a major source of revenue as the mom and pops go belly up.
