Monique, I am truly, deeply sad about the latest news of you and your health - it's heartbreaking! :'( I have been so fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet you and have some amazing memories of our fun times together!

You are such a kind, caring, generous, and brave woman, who has touched the lives of so many. I deeply admire your courage and will to keep fighting to the end. And don't be dismayed by that fool who outed you to your family - you are in every way possible a far better person than this loser can ever hope to be!

My best thoughts and wishes to you and your family, who love you for who you are!

I feel terrible for this brave woman. However, nowhere in her post does she mention cancer. She may have another disease.
FYI ... this is an update on her condition, there was an earlier post , around the time of her retirement ..... it is cancer.

I assumed it was cancer given that Monique mentioned her hair is gone and she's lost significant weight. Cancer or not it doesn't change the fact that whatever she has is terminal and it's tragic. My heart bleeds for this young woman and her family who have to witness it. My hope for her is that she can come to terms with it and that she can say and do the things she wants to do before she sees the light.

I'm so very sorry. Cancer is a blight and you fought hard. You have a lot of love here clearly, you will not be forgotten.

Live, Laugh and Love everyday and every moment to the fullest. I'm happy to see that you are handling your remaining time with us very well. We are immortal beings and we will meet again. Life and death are both journeys we all must venture at some point in our lives. I look at both as adventures, where you meet new and old acquaintances, friends, and families. Keep strong, there's nothing the world can throw at you that you can't handle.

Dear Monique - I wish we had met. You are a brave and beautiful woman. Thank you for the pleasure you have given so many others. I hope - perhaps against hope - that you will recover, but if this is not to be may your end be gentle and your heart easy. You ended your message with love to all. You can see how we all love you in our turn - even those who until now have been strangers. Your new friend, Bickle.

I wish for the best outcome for you Monique. I assure you I am inspired to live life for the moment and not assume I have a long life ahead. God speed.

Sorry to hear about this Monique, but you are facing this with dignity despite what others have done to you. I cannot imagine what you and your family are going through right now. I truly hope your prognosis was wrong and you'll go on to lead a long, healthy and loving life. Your story is a good reminder that we should deal with one another a lot more kindly.

Fight until your last breath. Peace be with you and know that you touched many lives. You will be in my thoughts.

Monique:

We never met, and I feel like it that is my loss. I truly hope you are at peace with yourself and your family. I wish you all the best, and will pray for a miracle.

God bless.

At the end of our weary travels, the best can hope for is peace. I hope you've found your peace, and that you know you made a positive difference in many lives.

May you find peace within.

Don't worry about the A-holes who try to bring you down. Karma will pay them back.
