Slightly off topic but since we're talking about cops.. here goes.
The other night I was in Mississauga. I went to a nearby store where there seems to be a club in the same plaza. While I was entering and leaving the store I noticed a ridiculous number of people walking to there cars, drunk, entering and driving away. You can usually tell the drunk ones by the level of noise and how sloppy they are when walking and getting into their cars.
Anyways, here I go around the corner and get stopped by a RIDE program. I feel relieved because I haven't drank a drop of alcohol in weeks. The female officer starts off respectful enough by asking the usual "how are you sir. Have you been drinking tonight." I answer "no". Then she goes off saying I stink of alcohol, would I mind taking a breathalizer, would I permit other tests.
Right away I'm pissed off. Why? Because I DIDN"T drink and I DIDN"T smell like alcohol. But for some reason she thought I did and stuck her head in and started to smell my mouth and flash her light in my eyes. The whole incident took about 5 minutes. Not too bad for a RIDE check. THe thing that pissed me off is that I was clearly sober and while she was wasting her time harrassing a sober asian driver, she waved through at least 5 cars loaded with people that were most likely drunk. I saw at least one car load that I witnessed in the parking lot where the driver was puking while the passengers watched and laughed. They were clearly drunk but because she was busy harrassing me, they drove away unchecked. FUCKING SMART.
