The only F1 I've been watching has been on Youtube and reading comments.
Well there has not been much F1 due to the war. The race this weekend will be like a second season opener with everyone having had a full month to dev their cars. McLaren is bring pretty much a V 2.0 car. 🍿🍿

Are the changes big? I've been suggested videos on YouTube but honestly can't care to click them anymore. lol

The changes this year were HUGE , and not really that great TBH, but to enjoy F1 you need to go deeper. TBH you get 30-40 good races at best in a year.

I know about the battery and all that, but I thought I read a heading where they recently changed things after the big accident but I didn't follow through with it.
It's such a shit show, can't be bothered with F1. I'll wait for the Netflix season this year, next year. lol

Going to an interesting first lap, neither Kimi or Max have had great starts this year. Sounds like rain is nearly a given for the race as well.

I tried to watch it but crashed out half way through, saw Max recovering from that 360 debacle, just like a video game. lol
Kimi is the one man, loved him last year, this year he's off to a nice start. I might try to catch Montreal to see if he wins another 1st podium.
I have to admit this battery charging/passing stuff is brutal though.

Don’t know why they needed to wait until after the race to give Max the penalty for crossing the pit exit line.
it happened on lap 9 and Stevie Wonder could have seen he was over the line. Give him the penalty asap and if he doesn’t pit again add it to his race time. Looked very Mickey Mouse from the stewards.

I gotta admit (as a hater of the 50/50 power split, video game bs) it was an entertaining race.
Max was a demon trying to claw back after the spin. And come on... going that many laps on one set of tires!

Kimi kept his cool. Lando couldn't find an answer. Charles decided he could do what Max does. Oscar was pushing hard... it was fun to watch.

Hindsight being 20/20 I would have loved to see what Max could have done with a fresh set of softs 12-15 from the end. He had enough of a lead on Hamilton that he would have come out no worse than 6th if he pitted 15 laps from the end.

Kimi Antonelli is the new Nikki Lauda. Sad he wont get to race on his home track at Imola.

Canadian Tate McRae vaulted to superstardom from F1:The Movie.
