I'm dying to know how they approved a script and got money to make a film that puts a 60 year old behind the wheel of an F1 car... experience or not. I KNOW it's Brad Pitt, and I like him as an actor, but FFS... it's just not even remotely possible. Of COURSE I'll watch it, but I will be rolling my eyes a lot! :p
I love F1 but not a chance in hell I'll watch that movie.
Pitt is 1 of the worst actors in Hollywood.
I have a feeling it will be a joke of a movie.
It will do well at the box office because of Netflix making F1 popular.
I just hope it doesn't make F1 look bush league.

I did further research into the film, Pitt is the producer but he may not be the star of the film.

Damson Idris is his co-driver and Simone Ashley (Sex Education) plays Idris's wife.

Less believable actors as an F1 driver:

Pete Davidson, Jonah Hill, Jason Alexander, Seth Rogan, Peter Dinklage and Kaitlyn Jenner.

FYI:

Two of the new drivers, Gabriel Bortoleto, (Kick-Sauber), and Isack Hadjar, (Racing Bulls), finished 1-2 in last year's Formula 2 Championship.

I finished my script to turn Turdnadoe into a film but I couldn't get financing. They told me clean up would be too expensive.

Pretty wild race for the last 15 laps.
Lando got lucky.
Very happy Hamilton never got a podium.
Totally agree, Hamilton looked pretty average, actually both Ferraris did, mediocre qualifying and they blew the last tire change by a lap. I know it’s only one race and a wet race at that but not a great showing for Ferrari at all. Antonelli had a really solid race from 14th to 4th and the MCs look like they could be on another level to the top four. Glad we only have a week to wait for the next race.
Again only one race in but Williams 1 driver scored more than the 2 Ferrari cars combined, did not have that on my bingo card for this week. 🤣🤣 BTW Williams may also have the hottest driver girlfriends pairing IMHO.

I don't know if this interests anybody here.

I can get Formula 1 races on torrentday, usually a few hours after the race is over. I could also upload those races to archive(dot)org, where they could be viewed online, or downloaded.

Some people don't care about watching a race when it's already over, but some people don't want to stay up until 4 AM to watch a live race from Asia.

What I would post would be the 'F1 TV' feed, which has no commercial interruptions. Sometimes, however, it has a lot more coverage than anyone would want to watch, like the drivers' pre race parade, the national anthem of the country where the race is being held, or a lot of filler during red flag periods. It's easy to fast forward past those parts with a downloaded copy, not as easy to do if watching online, because of buffering delays.

Click a Like reaction icon in this post if you want me to do this.

I have quite a few older F1 races already online. Many of these are 'onboard' races from 2009-2011. Check this post for some details. The onboards are very entertaining, especially the starts of races.

Use this link to see what's already available. It's a subset of the link in the previous paragraph, showing only Formula 1 results.

I collect 'vintage' F1 races, which I'll define as mainly from 1970's/ 80's, and selected other ones. If there is a specific race from years gone by that you'd like to see or see again, quote me with your request, and I'll post it, if I have it. For 1970's. early 80's races, sometimes the only circulating copy has Italian, Spanish, Japanese or German commentary, but the pictures are in English.

Planet F1: 2025 Australian F1 race team radio conversation between Lewis Hamilton and the Ferrari pit wall.

“Are we going Plan B?” Hamilton asks.

“Si,” replies his race engineer.

“Plan C?”

“No, B.”

“OK, Plan B then.”

“Si.”

“What the hell are you talking about, man!”

Lewis Hamilton P1! Chinese grand prix sprint qualifying.

While at it, the fastest time ever on the Shanghai circuit...take that!

Disappointed with Ferrari's performance at Albert Park. When I heard they had gear box problems, I feared another scaronia of a season.

Lewis Hamilton has pole for the sprint race:

How often is Lance Stroll quicker than Alonso?

Piastri edges out Russell and Norris for breakthrough maiden F1 pole during Chinese GP Qualifying

Chinese Grand Prix starting grid

Isack Hadjar 7th in qualifying for his 'first' race. He didn't complete the formation lap in Australia.

I wonder if Max Vestappen insisted on having a non-threatening co-driver this season. Liam Lawson qualified 20th for both the Sprint race and the Grand Prix. He started 18th in Australia, ahead of Ocon and Berman in the two Haas cards. Berman had no qualifying time, but was allowed to race at the stewards' discretion.

Can F1 live up to Rush, a personal favorite. Lewis Hamilton is co-producer with Brad Pitt.

The success of the film will depend on Damson Idris as an erasz Luigi Hamilton.
