Ive been twice with a very high VIP, had a fabulous time, ate and drank like a king, had pit/garage access and way better viewing than even the Paddock Club, had a driver 24/7 and I stick to my post.Never been there huh?
Sure, it's not accessible like a NASCAR or Molson Indy race but there is nothing like being in Monte Carlo for this event. But you better be a guest... because otherwise very few people I know could afford the classic Monte Carlo race weekend.
"Senna" is a such a well done doc. Highly recommend! There was a Senna documentary on Monday night on the USA Network. I never watched it. Also a Ferrari documentary before that. It was pretty good.
I'll keep an eye out for it. Hopefully it will be on again soon."Senna" is a such a well done doc. Highly recommend!
The build up to that scene was great, locking that prick in the office (forgot his name).I don't miss racing films, even sitting through Steve McQueen's Le Mans. I'm not expecting another Rush, no film is, Brad Pitt is a smart actor. He's put together a solid cast. Unlike Tommaso Cruise he doesn't step on other actor to glorify himself. He may not be the central character of the film, it may be Damson Idris as a young hotshot driver. And of course I'm besotted with Kerry Condon (Rome, Ray Donovan, Better Call Saul, The Banshees of Inisherin....).
I'm going to take it in, there's hasn't been a good racing film since 2019. Ford/Ferrari, the esteemed Tracy Letts as Henry Ford II.
No plans to see it, maybe in 20 years if it's free and online somewhere sure, but not going out of my way to see it.OK F1 fans, I mean the real fans.
Will you be going to see the movie F1?
I will not go and see it.
I've been an open wheel racing fan since I was 15. Now 61.
I think people who love F1 and are die hards will be disappointed. The casual fan( mostly due to Netflix) will probably love it.
What die hard fan would believe a F1 team would hire a 60+ year old to drive in a race. Yes, I know it's Hollywood and Pitt is a big draw. And of course Hamilton will pump up the PR since he has gotten a paycheck from it.
The lack of summer blockbusters will probably make this movie a ton of money.
I didn't watch Barbie because I'm not 12.Of course I’ll watch it!
It’s Hollywood! It’s a movie! It’s fantasy! Its entertainment! It’s NOT a documentary! It’s fiction! Lighten up purists! Sheesh! Such uptight old farts! (I’m sure the same old boring dudes didn’t watch Barbie because Ken doesn’t really talk)
You‘re correct it’s PG-13. Don’t worry you’ll be 12 soon enough, then you’ll be 13, and since Barbie is a world wide phenomenon it will still be around when you turn 13. Keep eating your Wheaties and throw in some grass fed beef.I didn't watch Barbie because I'm not 12.
