The only thing that surprised me was no actual safety car, when they mandated two stops to avoid what happened last year my first thought was “Big deal, there’s usually 2 or 3 safety car periods every year“.
If it wasn’t for Hamilton working the undercut (Ferrari was bound to get right at some point) and Alonso retiring you could have handed the points out Saturday evening.
Glad to see Lawson have a decent finish, if he can do that a few more times this year he might salvage his F1 career because Hadjar is starting to look like the real deal. Starting to think that second Redbull seat isn’t much of a step up from RB.
