Not outlandish by NBA standards but who were the Raps out bidding to pay those two 30 + and 20 + milion . What Mesai did wasn't great work in my opinion . With all the salary dumps he will have to do to get them under the Cap , .this team will be weaker then last years team . Bruno for the love of God will have to be a piece next year . How many more years are we going pay to play him to do nothing but play in blow out games ..
I can see the Knicks being interested in Lowry and they have deep pockets. Ibaka was going to get those dollars somewhere, may as well be from the Raps. I agree this team is still not set if it is going to contend, which means trade and possibly additional free agent signing(s)!
Durant is so underpaid it awful! I imagine once you hit a certain dollar level the tax man takes a ton. Durant just seems to be happy playing for a winner.
This has to be shit or get off the pot year for Bruno! If there was something that said he was improving at the NBA level but I have yet to see it. Gotta talk to Masai, I could wear a suit and sit behind the bench for that kind of money, maybe less!

status quo ( strong in division, conference finals possibly) till 2020 when next gen will be on the clock.
Canadian Kelly Olynic released by the Celtics .. He would be a great pick up to replace Tucker .
replace Tucker, hell he can replace Patterson and or JV. Somebody should pick him up, young guy with a boat of talent that won't bankrupt you!
Otto porter goes to Brooklyn. That makes Washington weaker. Patterson goes to OKC....many will say that hurts Toronto. I say he could never add any offence when needed. Olynyk would be be an upgrade. Boston does get stronger with addition of Hayward though.
PP has taken his skills to the Thunder for 3yr 17M deal. Olynyk would definitely be worth a try. Wonder what his cap hit would be. Right now we have only Siakam and Bebe at the 4 for bench.
NBA free agency...can't beat it ....... now nothing is done till Thursday (See DeAndre!) I'm sure Masai still has moves to do here till training camp so can't wait for it to fallout!

A bit pricey. Will they play him situationally at the 5 to relieve Whiteside because of bad-free throw shooting? Think he is way too slow to play a stretch 4! Or are they shopping Whiteside?
In today's NBA that is quite the bagain . The Hear know how to get the best of players
I was thinking the same. That was Calderon type pay awhile back. In this league, Miami might even have success playing Whiteside and Olynyk at the same time(and James Johnson?). Teams wanna play small ball? I say you beat them up inside!
That's a bargain for a starter, which Olynyk is not. Can't defend worth a lick.
