The ref had a good game in the England Portugal match. It was noticeble how much less diving was being done as the game progressed, as the ref proved he wasn't going to be easily tricked. May have missed a genuine penalty though when Lennon was fouled in the box. The Portuguese have proved themselves the worst team in the tournament in this respect. In contrast little diving in the excellent France Brazil game which was won by the better team on the day.

I had heard initially that it was 4 games. Frings threw a punch at Julio Cruz, so he definitely was picking on someone his own size amd he didn't stomp on his crotch while he was down.

You are correct it is only one game, if Germany wins then he gets to come back for the Finals on Sunday or if the lose then the Bronze, 3rd place, on Saturday.

Well with the World Cup coming to an end...

-flag bearing people who have no idea about soccer and do it for the hell of it
-Graham Poll
-Italy
-Craig Forrest
-Luca Toni's celebration when he scores
-diving and the theatrics attached with it

here are things I will miss:
-soccer
-the fans along with the atmosphere
-english commentary
-the simple fact that it's over
