Why the USA death rate is the lowest 4.8% while the Canadian is 8.3%, the UK or Italy are almost 14% statistically. What make it almost double or triple? This is significant differences. It's meaning the US has the best healthcare system? Or the virus is stronger or weaker depends which country do the statistics? Just doesn't make any sense. I'm just curious. Logically if I go to USA and get the virus I have much bigger chance to survive? Other question: When someone going to the emergency and they take the blood test, why it doesn't check for coronavirus? It could be very easy. The guy there, the blood there so it's easy to done but NO. They need the family doctor recommendation.It is that dangerous, why they not try to stop the spread in the emergency room?

The US has done more testing than Canada. If Canada has done more testing the death rate would drop too. The death rate is not the only indicator you should follow. There is also R naught number.
So far covid has killed more people than the flu in the US. But my sources are fake news.

I think you are taking number of reported covid deaths and dividing by the number of diagnosed cases for each country. This can vary if the method of assigning the cause of death is different (more expansive definition of covid death would mean a higher percentage), or if the diagnosis testing program is different (if relatively more active cases were found in the community this percentage would go down.)

In that article's terms, I think you are using case fatality rate (CFR), and they are estimating the infection fatality rate (IFR). Ie your chances of dying if you get infected is the IFR, not the CFR.
This article says the IFR is between 0.5% and 1%, and explains a bit why earlier estimates have been all over the map.
Each country may have a different rate, depending on a number of factors specific to the country.
For the "it's just a flu" nuts, note that the flu's IFR is about 0.1%, among all the other things that make covid more dangerous.

In Canada there was a spike in the death rate on May 22, since then it has steadily decreased. Canada's death tally is 8600, per population ratio, that's still significantly less than the USA at 126,000. In Florida, now the new epicenter, they had 4800 new cases in two days. Frank Zappa said, stupidity has a certain charm - ignorance does not.
Nose swabs are done to detect the virus. Blood tests are done to look for antibodies in people who have tested positive but remain healthy, or have recovered. It's the groundwork needed to develop a vaccine.

At the moment Germany and Italy have taken the most blood samples. Italian football players Daniele Rugani and Patrick Cutrone both tested positive, both have given blood samples. A number of players tested positive most notably Paolo Dybala and Manolo Gabbiadini, but I don't know if they gave blood samples. The Serie A season has resumed but in empty stadium and bench players must wear facemasks.
Who's bullshitting now? The population in US 11 times more than Canada so don't use just the number of death. You say 126000 death from 328 million people and 8600 from 36 million. So if Canada population by numbers is same as US we have 1.1 million infected and 95.000 death. Still the death rate will be 8.28% in Canada and 4.79% in USA. USA statistics shows, more and more test done with this virus, it will lost his bad reputation and the % of death will go down easily. The last novel coronavirus(H1N1) infected 25%( 2 billion people) of the world population under 65 years age only. Around half million people died ( mostly young) people since older guys has antibodies in their system from their younger age . The death rate was lower because the virus attacked the young generation with strong immune system. Now the death rate high because the virus attacked older people. Otherwise when the virus will infect 2 billion people the death rate will be going down easily around 0.005 % so no difference there. Again if I''m in the emergency room, take a swab test its really easy. They check my fever, my blood, my blood pressure so extra 1 minutes doesn't matter. They don't make the test because every single test from guys who got a virus but doesn't shows any symptoms will show the lie about the virus deadly reputation. And yes my opinion , the disinfection of everything, weakening your immune system within short time. Wear the mask lowering your oxygen level of the blood easily with 20%. Good for the cancer. I think Canada got a handle on it quicker so the major deaths were LTCH/nursing home, which will get you a higher fatality rate....USA it went much wider into the population thus lots more normal healthy people got it. But USA on a major uptick right now, becoming the Brazil of the north. Apparently the virus is not honouring state borders there. And the EU just banned the yanks but not the Canadians.
Maybe the Hospital/medical support/care protocols that were learned in Europe in the months before the USA got hit hard helped improve the survivability of the people who were hospitalized?
That could be the explanation. The average age of an infected American might be much lower than the average age of an infected Canadian. Of course, the begs the question why?

Arterial blood oxygen levels lower than 80% O2 , would be considered critically hypoxic with an inability to think, speak, walk and probably almost unconscious. Under 75% is like being in an airliner at 30,000' experiencing cabin depressurization. Your time of useful concsicousness is maybe 2-3 minutes.
You must be mixing up the 20% decrease in blood oxygen saturation with needing to be intubated and put in a coma and on a respirator from having COVID 19. Below 85% and your organs start to fail.
