Will Donald Trump be leaving the White House as a penniless pauper?

Forbes estimates his current wealth to be in the billions. Much lower than Trumps own estimates, but still a billionaire.

Will Donald Trump be leaving the White House as a penniless pauper?

Still being worth a couple of billion is a very long way from penniless.

Where is Canada getting CERB monies?

Commissions? Look at real estate agents or other sectors where income varies with price increases.

Anyone Else Still Waiting for A Refund from Mirvish?

I found the casting very difficult to wrap my mind around. I can understand encouraging diversity, but having black actors play historical white figures cast with Asian offspring was a bit confusing. I don’t think that a Martin Luther king drama featuring a Caucasian lead male would go over...

What do you think will happen in the sex business after Covid-19 Coronavirus is over?

I’m sure there are still people that will go to restaurants, but there will be no need to call ahead for reservations.

Anyone Else Still Waiting for A Refund from Mirvish?

I saw Hamilton just before the closure. I’d like my money back too.

What do you think will happen in the sex business after Covid-19 Coronavirus is over?

I don’t see a rush coming. I think restaurants will find it difficult to attract customers when they are allowed to open. I think it will be even more difficult for sex workers.

Why it may be time to wind down benefits and roll out incentives to work

If you previously made $5,000 in a year, you are now entitled to $8,000 in 4 months. That’s a free ride. The tax system does not correct this. CERB is a poorly thought out program.

Why it may be time to wind down benefits and roll out incentives to work

There had to be a better way. Let the money flow, but claw it back based on income? Surely someone could have come up with some guidelines for better accountability.

Europe restarts car factories amid uncertain demand

On a large scale, working from home will deplete car sales. Their will always be individuals that are outliers. Having 4 or 5 cars, you would be an outlier and likely not representative of the way things are heading. Good on you though!

Why it may be time to wind down benefits and roll out incentives to work

Paying people to stay home is a reasonable response. Paying people more than they were previously earning at work to stay home is moronic. Hopefully we find a transition back to work, but there are a lot of people on CERB hoping that their phone doesn’t ring.

    Reopening Ontario

I don’t see things opening any time soon. The Ontario government doesn’t even have the balls to open provincial parks. Can’t grown ass citizens monitor themselves and keep physically distant on a park trail? If we aren’t responsible enough to be on park trails, When do you think we’ll be...

    The Comedy of Errors.

Are antibody tests the same tests that test for the presence of the virus? I thought the antibody tests are to see if an individual has had the virus and developed antibodies and possible immunity.

    Reopening Ontario

What a waste of a press conference. Basically, we’ll open when the corona virus says it’s ok to do so. Oh, and be careful please and keep your distance or we may never open again.

Europe restarts car factories amid uncertain demand

There must be a glut of inventory. I would imagine a lot of people with leases coming due will walk away. The auto industry is in for a major shake up as more people learn to work remotely.

Where is Canada getting CERB monies?

Understood, and great point. Mine income is directly tied to inflation. For anyone in a stagnant wage position this is bad news.
