Scary Moments for Hobbyists

Nice. The park in a special spot seems innocuous, and might be at times (so she knows you've arrived, and she can see you before you get in, in case she knows you).

But, it also can mean she can tell her BF who is the mark he has to intimidate, or to know to bust into the door in 10 minutes pretending he's caught her w another dude. Or to check your car for valuables cuz you'll be tied up for 30 or more minutes.

Although that is a classic scam, the "boyfriend who catches his girlfriend in bed" thing. Sometimes it's her friends bursting in saying BF is coming....

I fell for the "specific" parking instructions as well.

When things started to get weird last March, LL got really quiet, but there was a week where a batch of newbies started to post. I ended up finding a gem of a girl called Katy. I was her first and possibly her last client. Tight, young French brunette that had lost her job in the restaurant biz. I couldn't believe my luck, had an awesome session at an Airbnb on Rideau.

The following week, the scammers seemed to come out. I tested my luck again with another promising ad. Located in a crap housing project on route to Barhaven, wouldn't give me the exact address right away. Made me call from a gas station, then gave me the directions. Called me twice in the 2 minute drive to her place and made sure that I parked in a very specific spot. So dumb of me in retrospect. Upon arrival I realized that the ad pics were VERY flattering...she was obviously into some heavy drugs as we met and chatted in the entrance to the house. I gave her a 50 dollar bill and thanked her for her time, but I wasn't going to stay. She freaked out and called for someone upstairs to come down then started showing me pictures on her phone of my license plate that she took while I parked.

I quickly gave her the rest of the agreed donation and booked it outta there before her backup came down.

I know that there are WAY worse stories that this, but it really affected me. Been sticking with my regular (Kelly White) mostly since. I don't seem to have the balls I had before this minor incident.

I never drive right up to an appointment. I always park at the closest strip mall, or some place a five minutes walk from where I'm going. You have to assume that any personal information like a plate number can be used to identify you. I don't take my wallet in either, just cash, and I never use my real number to set it up or use verification processes requiring proof of identity. I know why they're needed, but once that information is out of your control you're forever vulnerable to lost phones, hacks, etc.

Man - you went in after that as well. I would've said thanks but no thanks and drove away. Would've been too paranoid. You got bigger balls than me mate. Glad you are safe though. Wow, so many scammers. Best to stick with spas or established providers.

I’ve been lucky so far but one friend told me his story of responding to a LL ad, showing up at the incall motel, giving the money to the girl only to be told that she needs him to run out for condoms cuz she ran out and of course when he returns she’s gone.

For me, the moral of this thread is to go with established providers.

I can list many incidents happened over last 7 to 8 years, guys dressed as girl with fake pics on ad, girl with her girl friend in room and kicking me out in 5 mins threatening with pepper spray!

recently, gave me a parking lot address which I thought was google maps error, den once der she gave new address. Once at her place, she want to finish up things with a covered bj, I said I paid for different service and she was not listening. I realized I need to leave, got the money from her desk which I paid and rushed out not before her bf stop me at entrance and threatening. Gave him about 50 in change and picked up my phone like calling cop, he left the spot! Went around and saw he parking on same lane. That ad was reported, but no use! Address she gave was 250 york st. She is still posting ads.

My advice, verified ads, established provider, established agencies are the safe bet. Finally, no visits after 10 pm, never!

Do you really think a verified provider will use that information against you? If they did, that info would get out in the open so whoever would go to them again? They'd be done and finished.

You're drawing a bit of a false equivalency.

All the stories in this thread seemingly involve LeoList ads from unverified people who turned out to be unreliable or dangerous. The primary reasons clients follow through on those LeoList ads are a) to evade screening procedures, and b) to pay lower rates.

So, for the most part, the risks you're describing are voluntarily ones you've taken in order to gain advantages for yourself. That's different from the more universal , often institutionalized, risks that sex workers face. And it's harder to empathize with you getting ripped off because you wanted to save $50-100, or set up a date where you didn't have to verify your identity or make a deposit.

There's nothing wrong with sharing your stories in this thread, but stop trying to compare them to the risks SWs face. There's no reason for you to make that comparison. The thread works without doing it. And doing it minimizes the risks faced by SWs.

Some of these stories are mind blowing, my scary moment was getting an outcall and the girl got dropped off by two guys who hung around and waited for me to see her at the door. Not extreme but scared the crap out of me.


I think we need to bump that old list of safe ladies that we have experiences with. This way the real girls get the business and less scamming happens.

Well reviewed lady here but has since dropped off the radar. Went to her incall, engaged in some activity but realized there was no way I could finish because I just wasn't feeling it.

Put my clothes on in record time. As soon as I get my shoes on. The door flies open with me behind it. I immediately scooted right past this stocky white guy as he was opening the door and he had no time to do what he wanted. Caught him off guard.

Another one that wasn't as intense because I didn't go. A stripper that I had fun with was also an SP. Figured I'd go see her when I starting seeing her ads. She ended up doing being involved in some very serious criminal activity a few times right around when I wanted to see her. Enough to scare me off.
