Exactly why you should stop hating on Islam. So stop defending one and vilifying the other.

No, they don't.Speaking of religious extremists, do Muslims believe in killing those who do not believe in Allah?
That's just racism speaking.Islam is more than a religion. It's also a system of government. Authoritarian. It is misogynist, homophobic, violent, and anti democracy.
So yes, I have a bias against a belief system that espouses these things. Why don't you?
Not a chance. Not until they at least have a Reformation and do a King James do over of the Koran. Until then they are a bunch of backward 8th century cult followers.Exactly why you should stop hating on Islam.
Then your earlier comment about not vilifying religions is meaningless. Not a chance.
This just sounds more and more ignorant. Not a chance. Not until they at least have a Reformation and do a King James do over of the Koran. Until then they are a bunch of backward 8th century cult followers.
Sure it does. Happy to say many Evangelicals are at the least smug and self righteous. And can also get a crusader mentality going as well. Then your earlier comment about not vilifying religions is meaningless.
The majority do, just like the majority of Christians do as well.Muslims however don't believe that....
I've met a fuckuvalot more Muslims than you have and that statement is categorically fucking false and borders on hate speech. Not a chance. Not until they at least have a Reformation and do a King James do over of the Koran. Until then they are a bunch of backward 8th century cult followers.
100% thisSure it does. Happy to say many Evangelicals are at the least smug and self righteous. And can also get a crusader mentality going as well.
A secular liberal society allows space for worship on the home and an actual place of worship. It has no place in law, or the streets as a means of control, intimidation, or otherwise.
That is why the 10 commandments don't belong in court houses, and Sharia Law doesn't belong on the books.
Muslims however don't believe that, nor do Evangelicals. So they are the same in that.
I disagree. Most support Sharia Law. You have to to believe. To not do so is to say the Koran and the Word of God is flawed. The majority do, just like the majority of Christians do as well.
That is just pure conjecture and not the truth. Most support Sharia Law.
That is just a convenient narrative you have created for yourself. You have to to believe.
Sharia is interpreted differently everywhere, and it can very well coexist within a democracy. To not do so is to say the Koran and the Word of God is flawed.
Lol. When most Muslim nations are Sharia law nations, seems quite clear to me. When the cradle of it is Saudi Arabia, one of the most repressive regimes on the planet, it becomes more clear. That is just pure conjecture and not the truth.
That is just a convenient narrative you have created for yourself.
One can be a Muslim and not believe in any hardline interpretation of Sharia, or Sharia itself, just like there are devout Christians who support LGBTQ rights or don't live by the 10 commandments.
Sharia is interpreted differently everywhere, and it can very well coexist within a democracy.
It seems to me that you have a half baked and reductive understanding of both the religion and its followers in general. Put in one word, it sounds like it is ignorance.
Sharia can't coexist within a Western democracy, do you want some videos of Imams talking about Western culture? That is just pure conjecture and not the truth.

Those Muslim nations are repressive not due to Sharia law, but due to their respective governments and many other reasons.Lol. When most Muslim nations are Sharia law nations, seems quite clear to me. When the cradle of it is Saudi Arabia, one of the most repressive regimes on the planet, it becomes more clear.
One only needs to see the reaction of Muslims when depicting the Phophet in a negative light by cartoon. I'd say that is proof of a lack of free speech values. Another hallmark of Western Society. Those Muslim nations are repressive not due to Sharia law, but due to their respective governments and many other reasons.
As I pointed out there are Muslim nations that are democratic as well.
As I also pointed out, the more relevant bit to the subject of the thread are the Muslims who live here in Canada that are well integrated and live in a secular, liberal democracy and continue to want to do so.
Sharia is interpreted differently in different nations. It can very well coexist with democracy and there are many examples.Sharia can't coexist within a Western democracy, do you want some videos of Imams talking about Western culture?
Seems like you have ignorance and hypocrisy in your corner bud.![]()
