You seem to be confused when it comes to state censorship vs. business decision.

To compare this to china is really dumb. What biden did was way more inline with communist doctrine.
You are defending state censorship.
It wasn't business, trump admitted it was political in that post.

You lose all cred in criticism with China if you continue this position.

Kimmel says it's not all about him and then goes on to a 30 minute monologue.

Went off the rails when he brought DeNiro on...He just can't help who he is.

Crazy how the leftists on here took pleasure out of demeaning Erika Kirk but he actually praised her.

I'm sure that upset them, lol..Wait a minute you can't be saying that,lol...You can hear the hive buzzing.

Anyways, Kimmel sucks...Late night is in the toilet...His show is losing money...But free speech reigns in the end.
Awwww, how do sour grapes taste Ory??

Are you sure he's losing money with 20M subscribers?

Trump Posts MIDNIGHT Meltdown After Kimmel’s KNOCKOUT BLOW!

Much worse in Russia, Kimmel would be in jail. But the US is heading that way. Trust me, if Trump gets a third term and a 4th term.
Thankfully, his health and age will not allow that.

In my opinion, he's never had any credibility from post 1.

Yes, I do. Kimmel successfully returned to the airwaves and DID NOT apologies for anything. He then made fun of Trump again. And, Trump showed what a whiney bitch he was, and how free speech is not a thing for the a big chunk of the right when they hear something they do not like. Threatening ABC with another lawsuit, saying Kimmel was an undisclosed campaign contribution....It just makes Mango Mussolini look even weaker and pathetic then he usually does....Well, at least to the majority of the world and those who are not cultists...

Your article said 25% of the market.
Their viewers will be pissed.
Here's the thing...I suspect that there will be viewers in those markets who will let their feelings be known. And there will be advertisers who will be pissed, because the "special news" program they aired instead of Kimmel was dryer than toast. I am willing to bet both Sinclair and Newstar will re-air Kimmel in the near future. Mind you, both are looking for the FCC to approve mergers and other deals, so it might take until those things are finalized...

I could care less if he's back or not but there really was no violation of his freedom of speech like the left were whining about...they're just a bunch of drama queens...
LOL

You think the chair of the FCC threatening broadcasters licenses is not a violation of free speech??? You really are clueless. Shockingly clueless. And, maybe also shocking, noted "woke" politicians like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul both called it an attack on free speech.

Rumor is, Jimmy Kimmel has to make a public apology and also make a sizable donation to Charlie Kirk's charity
If Trump gets Kimmel to apologize on live TV and then make substantial donation to Kirk's charity, that will be a big win for Trump
I doubt Kimmel will be back, the FCC believes there's too much left wing lunacy on TV. I've already heard Bruce Jenner, Rob schnieder, or Tim Allen might replace Kimmel.
The apology we'll know for sure by tomorrow (but I'll bet its a half apology).
The donation we may never hear about, because it'll probably be done confidentially
To quote Phil from innumerable previous posts... where he was confidently wrong on his "rumour has it..." nonsense

It wasn't a business decision.
The definition of free speech, is that you are able to criticize the government, without being persecuted by the government.
In this case Kimmel criticized the President, and was threatened by the head of the regulatory agency who was appointed by the President, and subsequently suspended.
This qualifies as state censorship and if allowed to stand would have been a breach of the 1st amendment.

Just what we don't need is this idiot back spewing his poison. Fortunately dozens of stations have kept their senses and are keeping this ogre off the air: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/b...empt-jimmy-kimmel-live-return-abc-1236377475/
Those stations are owned by two multi-billion dollar corporations in an attempted $6.5 billion takeover that violates laws relating to media ownership monopolies, that would require the FCC and President Trump to over-rule those FCC regulations.

Just like the CBS deal that Trump used to extort the parties into cancelling another late night comedian who mocks Trump.

Not one single other of the 250 ABC affiliate stations have breathed a word of support for the cancellation, nor cancelled, the show. ONLY the ones owned by the two owners trying to get an illegal merger approved by the President.

Follow the money.

Last night was the first time I've ever watched Kimmel since the Man Show. That's what Trump did here, gigantic backfire. - I'm also glad Kimmel didn't apologize either. because he said nothing that warranted an apology.

A whiny comedian getting suspended for a few days for making off colour remarks and telling an outright lie even though he claims he has "fact checkers" on staff that go through his jokes to make sure they are accurate is not state level censorship is not even close to the levels of censorship thst exist in communist china.

Bannning the numbers 6 and 4 together is state level censorship.

Having to flee the country or going to jail for selling books is state level censorship.

Being disappeared and having your family on day and night surveillance for unveiling a banner is state level censorship.

You guys whine so much.
