But somehow you like to praise LEDs on buildings and ignore the hundred of infrastructure projects that have failed and killed 100s if not 1000s but are censored within their great firewall.

Any level of censorship that you feel is happening here is not even a fraction of what goes in communist china
Stay on topic.
Are you for or against censorship and state control?

"One of their own"

There is enough in the actual reporting available to everyone before he made this comment to know this is incorrect especially since he has a team of "fact checkers".
Please include the entire sentence you extracted this sentence from so we can discuss those words in the correct context.

You have used a capital letter on the first word of your sentence to imply he lied. You are implying that Kimmel said that the shooter was one of their (MAGA) own.

Of course I did. And I took the words, "one of their own" in the context and plain english meaning of what he said in full

In his monologue on Monday, Kimmel said the "Maga gang" was "desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them"

Change the sentence into something less inflammatory.

The MAGA gang (is) desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.

To something like:

The students were desperately trying to point out that the textbook did not have a chapter 13, and doing everything to avoid their failing grade.

I think it is more obvious that the writer of the sentence is not claiming one way or another about the truth in question.

Cry me a river.
Its hilarious that the shoe is now on the other foot and Lefties are getting a taste of cancel culture.
I wonder who will be next
I've asked you this before and I will ask it again.

Do you know the difference between a company deciding to fire a host or a company being told by the FCC, on the orders of the President, to fire a host?

FCC head doesn't have the power to fire a comedian.
If he did, then why is Kimmel back on the air??

and, what was wrong, plus you left out the rest of it, which really proves it wasn't a lie.

" and doing everything they can to score political points from it. "

He was bang on, and no apology was needed.

Do you really need me to show you what the FCC chair said, what Trump's been busy posting and saying? How do you walk around and get anything done with your head buried so deep in the sand? This is just a follow-up question.

He gave a half apology, and that was only to save his job.

Trump and the FCC can put pressure on a network to fire somebody, but they don't have the actual power remove someone from their job (unless they do something illegal).

And in case you missed it, Trump and the FCC head are allowed to voice their dissatisfaction with Kimmel and demand he is either fired or suspended. But they don't have a final say in what the network does

Show me where he said "sorry"...he reiterated what he posted on social media before the brewha to the Kirk family. He fried Trump all night last night and has him steaming as we post
I didn't say, that he said, that he was sorry.
I said it was a half apology
