A man competing against women is an injustice, sometimes with dangerous consequences.
It's horrible that any dude is competing with women. Fortunate they are only tiny number, for now.
When you allow one, you set the precedent for others. Yet it only takes one to defeat all women in any given competition from now until the end of humanity.
I know that as a man this doesn't affect you and never could, but you should learn to be sympathetic to the millions of women that it does impact.

Acknowledging that trans women are not women isn't "moral panic". It's a reality you're going to have to deal with.
It's shocking and pathetic that we've even had to have this conversation.
There are a bunch of people who think that is what would happen.
You can see them moving that way all the time.
The track record is... not very convincing.
It's trivially easy to move the goal posts, so you constantly are chasing whatever the Right decides they want you to do.
Also, you don't lose "the radicals" - you lose people from lots of groups at once because they all see you are willing to turn on them the moment the Right makes a meme.
You don't gain that many centrists, because lots of centrists don't care about the issue that much, since it was made up by the right wing and they will move the goal posts.
You also come across as feckless, not having any values you will defend.

Sure.
But it is hardly a sure thing and it doesn't always work long term
The main problem is the goal post shifting.
Think about it - the Right went after trans people with bathroom panic first.
It didn't work well, so they just moved to women's sports.
Since the right doesn't actually care about women's sports, there is no way to answer it.
If it loses steam, they will move to something else.

This is a mental health issue for trans individuals; It's a civil rights issue for women.

Because truth and facts are important in achieving and maintaining justice. When you erode such an obvious fact of life - that men cannot become women and therefore should not compete with women - you set a dangerous precedent for the entire justice system; that under the law, feelings [including delusions] are more important than facts.

Legal decisions are almost entirely based on established rules and past precedents. Feelings are irrelevant to a trial Judge, but they matter a bit to a sentencing Judge. No deviant behaviors are condoned because 'only a few people are doing it'.
I think some of the trans people are just trying to troll the civil justice system, provoking society as a means to achieve wealth by filing nuisance lawsuits for 'discrimination'. Perhaps it's because they have no marketable skills.
