Except the Putin bullies were the only ones who raised their voice. Zelensky did not raise his voice and was respectfully correcting the inaccuracies and misapprehensions spewed by Vance then Trump jumped in.

However, Zelensky is right to want to fight on for his country.
The US should follow its long established traditions of supporting Europe and adhere to its stated obligation of supporting Ukraine "till the end".
Even if that was from a prior administration because it reflects on US credibility.
A mature administration would do that, but not Trump's.
Who else are the allies the US can rely on for anything?
China? Russia? Iran? North Korea?
Even disregarding America's stated obligations to Ukraine, this move by the Trump Administration, shows no forethought into how this might affect prospects for the US in the future and alienates all its allies.
