Why would Zelensky give Trumputin mineral rights for nothing in exchange? All he was asking for is security guarantees for the mineral rights, WHY NOT?? How is America going to get the minerals out without Americans on the ground? What right does America have to the minerals without something in exchange? I also think Zelensky was performing for the American press.
It likely won't change the Administration's policy.
It will however strengthen his standing back home.
I've said since 2023 there will be a deal that will be unsatisfactory to many. Zelensky will have to look like he fought for a better deal.

I don't remember Vance attacking him. Can you cite what you are referring to? Vance seemed precise and assertive in his words. Trump on the other hand was very pissed and didn't hide it.
