Where does it say that 19M voters stayed home because of Gaza? It just doesn't.
It says that of the voters who voted for Biden in 2020, but did not vote for Harris in 2024 AND voted for someone else, 30% did so because of Gaza.

I mean, yes, some of the people Frank was pushing were very clear that they would vote for Trump specifically to punish Biden, that usually hasn't been Frank's position and wasn't the position of many of the groups we are talking about here.
Frank is arguing that they stayed home and let Hitler win because stopping Hitler wasn't important enough to them. Despite the repeated warnings that Hitler would be worse for the specific cause they claimed to believe in, refusing to sully themselves by casting a vote for someone who would be less bad was more important.
(There were also some arguments that actually, it was impossible to say if Hitler would be worse than Hitler lite, because despite his history as President before and his rhetoric about what he intended to do, the future is always a hypothetical so maybe it would work out. And then there was the "if Hitler-lite loses then everyone will know it is because of this issue and the Hitler-lite party will completely support us in the future. It is worth 4 years of Hitler to get a small, theoretical voting advantage in 4 years.)
