Maybe not, but you're implying that YOU had heard of it. Why did you not previously express outrage until trump told you to, even if indirectly through Musk. That is tDS at work. Cult mentality. Only do what and when our leader tells us to. We cannot think on our own.

shack, I don't appreciate you cherry picking my words. Politicians of all stripes are egotistical and into creating a legacy. If they weren't driven by some personal motivation, they wouldn't be where they are and able to achieve anything.
When I listen to Trudeau, I see these ego-driven characteristics. Unfortunately for Trudeau, things did not work out for him.

Exactly. And of course his father Ron Paul has been outspoken on the topic of funneling money overseas with no direct benefit to the local people.
I wouldn't blame the Democrats alone. The Republican have been enablers of the current system.

American foreign aid has been an issue for many years. Of course, it's discussed in Republican circles but people who identify as Democrats have concerns.
There are different types of audits. Government auditors might look at an expenditure to see that the proper sign-offs are there and it is not going directly to anyone inside the agency. They likely will avoid getting in the middle of political decisions.
The Musk audit is actually looking at the ultimate recipients and the merit of the recipients' efforts and goals. This is actually political, but that is the nature of evaluating government expenditures.
Every administration has their ''special interest'' groups that they take care of....I'm sure that there is a huge kickback coming in at re-election time.
The leftists better strap in here cause it's obvious that Trump and Elon are going to unleash their full fury at them.

We're also suffering Trump Devotee Syndrome or something to that effect because we're questioning U.S. expenditures abroad. And hey he's on to us. We never thought about this until Musk raised this issue.
