Musk isn't doing an audit on USAID to check where the money is going.

You aren't under the impression there haven't been previous audits of USAID, are you?
I'm sure there are...we're just getting different results lately...why is that?
isn't it nice to see some transparency for a change on where the funds are heading? or it shouldn't be highlighted?

Because Musk is picking and choosing what to talk about and misrepresent on Twitter.
After all, he isn't publishing a report or showing any evidence.
He's just posting on twitter and spinning a narrative.

There isn't any transparency about what Musk is doing.
That's one of the major objections about it.
He's in there fucking around and posting what he likes without any supervision or checks on what he is lying about or misrepresenting in furtherance of his agenda.

It's about time the US stopped distributing AIDs around the world!

Prove he's lying... they have created the list...including funds going to news outlets... which one is he "picking" as I see some programs not waste and some are useless...
be honest...you're against this because you hate Donald Trump...it's understandable...

Prove he's lying?

The condom one is a lie, as you already know.
He boosted the lie about USAID funding celebrities trips to Ukraine.
I'm sure if I look at more of his almost 200 tweets on the subject, there would be more falsehoods and misrepresentation.

He ran this play with "The Twitter Files", remember?

It's funny that all of these tDSers talking about the huge "waste" that USAID supposedly is have never spoken one word about it up until now. Addicted2sex has never even heard of it in his life. Now he's an expert and an advocate.
I've been hearing about it for a few decades. Some commentators and politicians have been speaking out about the lack of transparency and accountability.

Perhaps you just haven't heard about it.

This argument you make here doesn't change the need for reform.

You aren't even the least bit concerned that Musk has all the USAID info, Medicare info and access to IRS and all other government docs?
That he and trump are planning to set up a sovereign trust fund to funnel government money into their own control?
You think any money from tariffs will ever end up being used for americans?

Once trump got elected it became too late.

Fuck all those people in Michigan who didn't voted for trump instead of Harris because she didn't support the terrorists enough.
No, fuck all the people who have been backing genocide. AIPAC and all the dems who supported the genocide against the wishes of their own party. Fuck them.

Now you've created a situation where after massive student protests against genocide were shut down by the dems using aggressive police, students are now less willing to protest trump. With trump now declaring he'll jail or deport anyone who protests now people are going to be way more wary about working against this regime.

This is what Netanyahu wanted.
Those crackdowns will aid the rise of fascism in the states.

It was a lie because those things aren't in the USAID budget.
They were... what's the word... untrue.

Breaking the law and laying the groundwork for a corrupt autocracy?
Yes, he did promise that and I am upset about it.

He doesn't give a fuck about us.
So why do you trust and support him when you know that he doesn't make decisions based on what is good for Americans?

It is irrational. But it is yet another example of tDSers saying I don't like this about him and I don't like that but I never criticize anything he does. I always defend his decisions. Your words are merely platitudes to ward off criticisms of non-trumpers but they do not represent who you are. You are fooling no-one but yourselves.

This is a clear case of actions talk louder than words. Your actions of totally supporting everything he does totally neutralizes your empty words of pointing out his flaws. It makes your words bullshit and meaningless and verifies that you are tDS cultists. It is undeniable.

Start thinking for yourselves instead of marching in lockstep to the perfect leader's edicts and begin to match up your supposed criticisms with actions because you are not doing that now. It is hypocritical to point out his flaws and then defend everything he does and says.

There has been an obsession with USAID on the fringes for a while.
Depending on where they hang out, some of these people may have actually been obsessing over it for a while.
Possibly, but not with any of the people that I see and interact with on TERB.

I really didn't understand the question in the context of the conversation.

In post 158 you asked...

Should we have another national vote on each item? A line item referendum on the $7 trillion dollar Federal budget.

You don't really understand the concept of our Executive Branch and who heads it. Maybe you do and you merely don't like our President.

I followed up by asking if you were asserting that instead, the President/Executive should have a line-item veto, since the implication here was that going back and asking Congress to do that would be ridiculous since this power belonged to the Executive Branch.

Are you asserting that or not?

Trump's not going to start with troops, even if he really does like the idea.
The usual beatings by cops will go first.
If it's a process, it may be the first time he's actually followed a process, but the question still remains, how long until he sends in the troops. It's a rhetorical question, so I'm expecting an actual answer with a time frame. It's more of a statement that if push comes to shove that is what he'll do. He won't hesitate.

that depends...if the protests starts causing too much disruption for the residents and small businesses....maybe it's time for him to freeze some bank accounts...isn't that the right thing to do?
Disagree. Like they do in Russia and China, loud criticism of the gov't will be muted by intimidation. There was no disruption of businesses in Tienanmen (sp) Square. There was no disruption of property when Russian police arrested thousands protesting the war in Ukraine. Mass, loud criticism of trump alone is all it will take will not be tolerated and forces of some sort will come in.

Thank you for your perfect tDS response. Always, always, always give him benefit of the doubt. And if you are proven wrong you will come up with some excuse to attempt to get him off the hook. "The police didn't properly follow his orders. They over reacted. Blame them." You are following cult protocol to a "T". Sorry rich, but it's the truth. That's what dictators throughout history eventually do.
